Any one here on zoloft and have ADD or ADHD? I am more ADD and still debating starting Zoloft. I got Covid in early February and my usual manageable anxiety started raging. Depression has come to the surface as well. I will have a few good days and some days with worried thoughts in my head like "Will I ever fully be myself again?" "Did Covid mess up my brain?" ect Sometimes I can cognitively work through stuff others I cant focus my thoughts. Wondering if going back on Adderall would help. I was on it in 2018 and then my family went through a tough season. I had stopped taking sometime during the tough season and had some bad anxiety and depression. I stopped just in case it was the cause.

It will help you find the balance and figure out techniques that provide you calm in the stress (ADD) related focus moments.
As one person shared, it's not that they are not paying attention, it's that they are paying attention to everything, and having to sort through information quickly to find the one to focus on takes tremendous effort. It is exhausting, and can create anxiety adding depression when it overwhelms even the most simple task.
I think it will work for you. Keep a daily journal so you can see what works, and just as important, what is not working when.
Best wishes.
