I am a 58 year old, widowed man. I am very depressed and grieving for my lost love who died from Brittle Diabetes, Pneumonia, ARDS, Renal Failure, Thyroid Failure, Severe Hypoxia and Bradychardia brought on by Anion Gap Dysplasia and Metabolic Acidosis. I have been blaming me for all of her ills although I did everything in my power to safeguard her health by making sure she ate well she should, got exercise and took her medications as prescribed. In spite of her doing the best she could and me doing the best I could, she still passed away and it is very painful for me to feel like not only did I fail, but so did she. We have a lot of people around us that have said that it was my fault she got as ill as she did but it was her fault as well. Instead of having support, my family has been attacked verbally and told that we are a bunch of dumb asses because we couldn't predict what would happen. I do not have a crystal ball, nor am I a mind reader and I definitely not a sooth-sayer. .
