  As of January 2018, Florida Drivers License Bureau now put "Sex Offender" on your driver's license. No matter the circumstances, it will be on their driver's license for the rest of their lives. There has got to be a change for different levels of sex offenders. Nothing should be lifetime unless a person actually had contact with a child.

  Anyone's loved one in Gulf Correction Annex in the Panhandle. I am hearing horrible stories about the officers and inmates. My son is having a really hard time there. It is his first time in prison and it is written all over his face. He has only been there a month and he is being extorted and threatened almost daily. I don't know where to turn to because I know they make it worse if you call the prison and complain. However, I did call anonymously and ask how their protective custoday unit is...

  So after two weeks in the Orlando reception center, I got the frantic call from my son I have been dreading. A group of about 4 or 5 gangbangers with tatoos all over their face are coming after my son because he doesn't have any paperwork to show why he is in prison. I feel absolutely helpless. He is not capable of defending himself, he is a 30 year old couch potato, mamas boy. I don't know what to do to help him. How can we possibly go through 6 years of this?!!! So brokenhearted.

  Does anyone have a loved one that has been in a region three Florida Prison. My son will be transferring soon and was wondering if anyone had any input on the Region 3 prisons. Marion county in Ocala?
