Families of Prisoners Support Group
This community is dedicated to families that have been disrupted by prison. Having a loved one incarcerated or having been incarcerated comes with its own unique challenges that require support and understanding. Join the group to find others who know what you're going through, and to seek advice or share your experience.
Emotional release is good. After you let it all out, dry your tears, put your big girl panties on and be strong....not only for yourself but for your son. He's going to need someone in his corner. He'll need your support.
It's going to be tough but you'll get through this and so will he.

Facing that your child is incarcerated must be making you feel helpless. Worrying though will not help the situation.
Taking good care of you and your health should be top priority right now. You won't be able to help him if you're sick physically and mentally.
Keep busy. Take up a hobby or get into a regular exercise routine. Log in your eating habits.
That'll help you and him in the long run.
