  Between my wife and I things have been rough for a long time.She has some issues of her own that I feel she takes out on me (and sometime the kids) just because I'm the closest target.I have been her verbal punching bag for years and I am tough enough to not be permanantly scared by it.I wish I could help her be more happy in the long run but she is not willing to admit that her unhappiness is any fault of own and she wont really have a serious conversation about it.   My wife has given up.On us. On the house.She spends a lot of her days laying in bed watching Netflix.When it started to get really bad is in 2016.That year i was laid off from the job that i held for over 15 years. We went from an almost 6 figure income to food stamps and unemployment checks.It took almost 8 months to find my next job that was close in pay.I also lost my dad to PSP during that time between jobs so that was hard for me and the rest of the family.With my wife choosing to give up...

  I am currently struggling with how to improve life for myself and my kids. If you knew me personally you wouldn't really know me at all.I am the father of 4 children. I have been married to my wife since 2001. We met in High school, dated and got married in our mid 20s and we bought our house when we got married.
