  Honestly, it’s just been building for the past 2 years from my current situation that I can no longer contribute anything to society. I recently lost full function of my left leg, lost partial function of my right leg and the rest of my left side.   I’m 18, this year I’ve been hospitalised 4 times, 3 were ICU admissions. I don’t know how many times I was hospitalised last year, but 4 of them were ICU admissions. My hospital stays generally very between 4-6 days. My most recent stay was exactly 2 weeks. I was admitted on the 13th July, spent 6 days in ICU and then was on the respiratory ward till the 27th. I have severe brittle asthma, I was put on a new medication (called Nucala) which was doing brilliantly to control my condition....

  My partner and I are 19 and want to get engaged, we’ve been together since we started high school (13 years-old). But we don’t have the family support network around us. My parents don’t like the idea and his parents won’t take it seriously. We wouldn’t be getting married for a year or two anyway because we’re saving already for a deposit on a house.   I’m not anaemic, but for the past 5/6 months I’ve been having problems with iron deficiency. It has been pretty erratic and despite taking supplements, my levels dropped to 6.I had an IV iron infusion yesterday and all today since I woke up I’ve been throwing up and in such immense pain all over my body, especially my lower back (I even feel like crying and I don’t remember ever crying over physical pain in my life).
