  Next week will mark roughly 3 years since I first logged on to this site when my world fell apart after my affair was discovered.  I periodically pop back on to update my status.  I want to educate those who may be in the midst of an affair on what life will look like if they keep persuing something that will most likely be a death sentence to their relationship.  I'm nowhere near where I thought I would be, both good and bad and there have been a lot of uphill battles and struggles along...

  Wow, it's been a hot minute since I've logged on to this site.  Two and a half years, a drawn out divorce, and some extra gray hairs later I figured I owed this site an update.  I don't often see many people follow up after their initial posts/queries for whatever reason, but I'm here to offer a little hope to anyone who feels like the bottom has dropped out from their life because of their infidelity.  I'm here to encourage that beyond the fear and dispair, past the confusion and pain,...

  It's been about 2 months since I've come here to post.  I'm in a better place mentally and emotionally than I was before, but I'm still struggling with some things.  I've continued seeing a counselor, and that has helped me feel a little more grounded.  I'm not in the deep rut that I was a few months ago.  I no longer feel suicidal and I'm able to function a lot better overall.  The pain is still there, but I've learned to just acknowledge it and move past it, because I can't go down that...

  I was served divorce papers this morning as I was leaving for work.  It was a humiliating, devastating experience that I prayed would never happen.  He's trying to take everything from me.  He knows I can't afford a lawyer, I have no friends, hardly any family left, I make low wages, and I have no where else to live.  I begged for months for him to come home, to try with me, to go to marriage counseling.  I never gave up fighting, but not once did he even try to consider any of what I was...
