  I don't know how to get over feeling so lonely. Especially though this pandemic that's going on. Before when I was feeling lonely, I could hug my dog or sing to him and he would always cheer me up. But ever since I lost him unexpectedly on Valentine's Day, I cant get over it. And this stay at home order just makes it worse. I'm ruining relationships over it and just cry every single day. I lost the only true companion I had the day he died.

  It's been so hard for me lately regarding the guilt of it all. He was only 5. And still so full of life. But there were things I brushed off that I should have taken seriously. He had an on again, off again, type of limp. I thought it was his joints for whatever reason and just gave him joint treats and thought it should get better. but now I just keep thinking what it if it was Lyme disease and I could have just prevented it by giving him the Nexgard year round like the vet suggested that...

  It happened on 2/14/20. He stayed the night at the sitters like he had so many times before because I had plans on 2/13. When I dropped him off...he was himself. Happy. Everything about that day was like any other. That night while out of town...he got sick. He had thrown up at her house before and acted lethargic after...so I just assumed it would be like the last time and he'd recover. She let me know she would notify me if anything changed. The next morning I woke up, about to message her...
