  Just checking in here! I know holidays are an extremely challenging time of year for those afflicted with eating disorders. My weekend went better than expected- I did not binge, but I also felt extremely "in my own head" during family gatherings, and all I could think about was portion control. Control, control, control. I can't seem to let lose even for one day. I did have a piece of pie that took a while to finish, but I did it, AND took a rest day from the gym. Had breakfast at outpatient...

  I feel like many support people think that once you're out of your first treatment, it can only go uphill from there. I guess I would consider myself relatively "new" to my eating disorder- I started excessively exercising back in March, and dropped weight. I spent 6 weeks of summer in a partial program, tried to get a full-time job, but then went back to old habits. Currently I am in a day program that meets for one meal.
