Just checking in here! I know holidays are an extremely challenging time of year for those afflicted with eating disorders. My weekend went better than expected- I did not binge, but I also felt extremely "in my own head" during family gatherings, and all I could think about was portion control. Control, control, control. I can't seem to let lose even for one day. I did have a piece of pie that took a while to finish, but I did it, AND took a rest day from the gym. Had breakfast at outpatient programming today. Small steps!
How was everyone else's Christmas? Let's focus on a positive- what is one VICTORY you had this weekend, big or small? :)

Hey yall. I took a hiatus from ds for a couple of weeks or more. I thought I was going to just leave ds because it's been so slow. I have been journaling in a notebook but since I don't carry it with me, it's been inconvenient. So I apologize if I caused anyone to worry about my absence but I'm back and will be updating my journals again as I have time :)

Holidays for me are more about crippling anxiety and panic than the ED but it was always in there somewhere. I am happy to report that for the first time since I was a kid I enjoyed a holiday weekend. I had mild anxiety that was very fleeting. Yeah me!!! :)
