I would like to share a little bit from my heart.
I love all of the good people here on this site, and I believe that we can help each other.
This thread is an opportunity to let us know that you are here. You all mean so much to me and we can't help each other if we don't know each other.

Hope you all are well. I am still running like a chicken with my head cut off, and to boot, am in the midst of an insomnia cycle. Not a good combo!
On my way out to do errands, but wanted to sneak in and say hi to my favorite peeps!
Think I'll be swinging through Dunks for a really big coffee! :)

I am sorry that you are off work again. I think this is the "W/C Game" ...Uh, we don't have work for you while you are on light duty....when you can work more, you can come back to work. I have heard of this before and it becomes a game like chicken.
I want you to be careful because if you say you can go back to work then, you say you are not in pain/disabled enough to not take it easy. What usually happens then is that you have said you are able to work so, if you start asking for modifications, call in sick, are still using prescriptions, are not able to do things....they use that as a means to fire you because you are not preforming the duties of your job.

Honey, I am so very sorry that you had such a bad flare. I wish I could say that it is the last one...but, I know with MS those flares are frequent visitors. My friend had MS really badly and stress was the biggest facrtor beside heat that made her MS really bad. Please stay low in stress and keep cool...fan by your bed and stuff k? Hugs to you Bridget!

Finally winding down...I hate to complain but, I am in miserable pain from my busy week. HUGS to you all!
When they called me in this week and told me that they couldn't place me because of my doctor's restrictions, I said.....no problem. I will abide by the doctor's restrictions.
Thanks for the concern. I do know how some, being insurance and w/c, will be your best friend, just waiting for a slip up. My employer has assured me that they will have a place for me in the near future. When and where????? I go back to the surgeon on September 15th for an evaluation. They'll probably release me then. I don't know about future restrictions yet. I'll keep everyone updated.

you know you love your kids when you will endure a migraine for them! then when i come home its ice pack and laying down in a dark room.

Me.........same old same old I need a new neck. Nothing new. Did have two awesome g-kids on Friday night and that was nice. Today I am happy for my new lidoderm patch that was meant for shingles and helps with my neck.
Shingles are fading into history. No more Miss Shingles.

I am doing pretty good today. Church was great. I am so fortunate to have friends like everyone here.

Doing some shopping at the thrift store today, getting a desk for my niece that I saw on Saturday hope it is still there.
Hope everyone is doing well have to babysit till 1pm so wish me luck as she is picky and likes things a certain way A diva in the making LOL I hope she does not get that from me. Well maybe a little she does.
