It seems like so many are going through real challenges right now, and my heart goes out to each of you. As for me, the gastro doc, for lack of a better diagnosis, has decided to attribute all of my recent GI issues to the antibiotic that I am on for my knee, so it doesn't get re-infected again. I've been on it for 2+ years, and it has just caused many problems for my poor esophagus and tummy. Am I convinced this is 100% of the issue? Nope, but it'll have to do for now. I have to go see the infectious disease doc next week to decide on a different antibiotic, as I am basically screwed if my knee gets infected again.

First of all, love, hugs and prayers for all my dear friends. Each of us is trying to cope with distress in one form or another. I love this 'check in' thread to get a glimpse of what's going on at the moment.

I've been up since 2:30 AM so it's going to be another long day. I'm booked rom 8:00 until about 11:30 unless I have a client call with a hair crisis that I can't refuse. I know that sounds ridiculous, but you'd be amazed how many women (and the occasional man) who really do think their need for a hair service is that crucial...right now!!! Whether or not I tell them I have an opening depends on the client and how I feel at the time. I know them all well and it's often a clent who never rebooks before they leave and then think they're special enough to pull this crap on me every time! They under estimate how well I know them!

Anyway...I wish everyone a comfortable day filled wih love, support, answers, joy or whatever you're needing,

I look forward each day to write a little something here and start my day off by letting my CP friends that I'm listening and this is helping me. You all are very important, not only to yourselves and family, but to us.

Morning all, I hope that everyone has a good day today!!

This morning starts off my month long testing craziness because I switched MS doctors he ordered his own specific tests to see how far my disease has progressed and what damage is done. This morning is the SSEP nerve conduct test. I had one of those a few years ago on my legs and it was awful I was crying the whole time....I may ask if my mom can come in with me especially since it's a full body test today.

Whew, yes I must have passed the stone as my kidney area is slightly sore but nothing like it was, I was so relieved for not having any more pain that I went grocery shopping, cleaned kitchen and living room, cooked dinner and went on a walk. I wonder what I would do if my CP went away just like that.

Now that I am totally behind on my todo list I hope I can get it all done before the end of the weekend. I guess just one thing at a time.

Anyone one a electrician here as I have a question it seems once I got my new appliances even tho they are all energy star if I run two at a time like the dishwasher and vacuum it blows the whole house circuit. Wondering if anyone would know why that happens and if I need to have a electrician out to replace the switch.

Good morning all. For me it seems afternoon cause I am still on my 2AM schedule waking up with pain. I see my primary care doc at 12 today and Hip surgeon at 9:15 tomorrow. I hope we can get some answers. I am not very pleasant without sleep.
Sweet I hope your test passes quickly and that you will be able to go to your peaceful place during the test.

Cherry I love it when you talk stylist talk. My stylist is the same way as you....if you have a crisis she will fix it.
I you don't schedule your maintenance before you leave she might just put you over with one of her junior stylist.
I make sure I am on her good side always. She is as important to me as my doctors. One word...Red hair.
Not everyone can keep it warm and nice. Hope your day is not to painful.
Manny I am so glad the kidney stone is gone. You get a gold star. Depending on how old your home is you may need new breakers. Could be pricey. Maybe you should run only one appliance at a time.
Cinnamon antibiotics can really do a number on your digestive trac. I just got some acidolphus bifidus tabs to
take once a day. The antibiotics kill the good bacteria. The tabs put good bacteria back. Did you have staff in your knee?
David I am glad the SCS is working and I hope you still have some weeks of light duty because it sounds like you need it. This is hump day...Wed. Bible School is so much fun. What will you be doing? One year I had the
Bible Story and one year I was a kid mover....getting from one session over to the next. I loved Bible School as a child. Kool Aide, cookies and Jesus.

Toni I am so proud of your drive yesterday and today. I am sorry for your burn. I would bring you dinner if I lived in your town. I love to cook. Maybe you should have cold things for awhile. I am not so good on kitchen and burn cut and spill frequently but still do it. No one in my family will watch me handle a knife. It is hard for me to take something out of oven without bumping a rack with some part of my hand.
Let us know how you are doing on your burns.
I drove for the first time in a very long time a couple of weekends ago to take granddaughter shopping. She is seven and she had to tell me how to get there. For real.

Today is SI joint pain day...and I am at the top of the leaderboard...winning the race to have it the most. Oh gosh this sucks. I feel like my whole duck tailed end is going to just fall off---like it needs to be snapped on or something.

@Ducky, I'm sorry you are hurting. The way you explained it sounds exactly like when my lower back ( tailbone area ) goings out. I have 3 buldging disc and the way I explained it to my doctor is that it feels like I have a cob up my butt. Lol He always laughs when I say it. If it's anything like that , it's very very painful and uncomfortable trying it sit. Hope you feel better soon . Hugs

Manny, I am relieved for you. My wife and I are working with the 3rd and 4th graders at VBS. It's a lot of fun and the kids are great.

Well I worked a little bit today. I'm going to focus now on trying to decrease the number of meds I'm taking. I see my PM and the surgeon the first week of August. The SCS is still hummin' away I'll let everyone know what's happening.

I am so Blessed to have friends like ya'll.

Hello Roomies. I am always so darn late on here! It's my daughter Amandas' fault she called me and we got to talking about everything we could think of. She lives almost 2 hrs away and we don't get to see each other very much and I miss her and my grandchildren and her husband very much!

David I hope you are doing good at work and not pushing it. If you are pushing it too much I'll have to tell Rocco to nip you on the butt!

I love the story about your granddaughter giving directions! Sounds like my 6 yr old granddaughter! They make the world go around don't they?! How come you haven't drove in a long time? Is it because of your hip?

You know I wish we all could meet and just hug on each other! We would just have one big party and lounge around and eat and talk and hug hug hug! If I ever win the lottery maybe I can arrange this!

I'm ready for a vacation.(lol) I liked waking up at.........whenever!! I am glad to be back at work. I miss being home and being able to share more here, but the bills gotta get paid. I got a few people working on the time I was out of work for four weeks, to get a check.

Anyway, I'm glad you all are here. Again I'll be watching today on my phone. Please come join us. Check in everyday so we know where you're at.

I am here, and relatively sick of the insomnia I have been experiencing lately. The last two nights I have slept a grand total of about 3 hours. Maybe. So tired, yet when I try to close my eyes, I am jolted wide awake.

I dont know what is going on but for the last maybe half hour to a hour I am having pain where I was hurting from this kidney stone just out of the blue is that possible to pass this stone to turn around and have it start hurting a couple of days later. So not fair right now. I dont know if they could break apart and one part came out and this other part is about to pass and that is what this current pain is.

It is the same place so I dont think it is my normal pain, I had my day all planed out and now I am sitting here feeling sorry for myself. I know be positive but this so sucks.

David I am with you I am ready for a vacation for the last few days I have been daydreaming about going somewhere even if it was for a weekend. I am so sick of my four walls it is not funny. Actually if I could and me and hubby could pick up and go I would so many responsibilities, wish I was young and carefree even when I was a young mom with little ones in the house I would pick up and go away for the weekend but it seems even when the kids are older it gets harder because more is on our plate. Aargghh!!!!!!!!
