Manny I hope you get results from your drs appt. Prayers to you honey.
Nealytee, I say we give you a big ol FLOGGING PARTY to celebrate when those treatments are over! You are almost there my friend! If 11longyrs behaves herself I'll let her bring the sprinkles! LOL! So how about it? You can have that to look forward to also ok?! Love ya
Supertoes I love beads! I have a zillion of them. It takes me forever to work with them, but I don't care I do it anyways. I've made necklaces and earrings and pillowcases with beads and stitching. Yrs ago I macramed a table with beautiful bird beads. I've always been into crafts. Painting and creating. Love it and you too!
Cherry you are too hilarious!! I can see it in the papers now: Woman Ods on blueberries! She ate so many she blew up! LOL! Hugs Sweets!
Livewithhope are mushrooms an antioxident? I know berries are, just wondering. Dr Oz is a very informative dr and seems to really care about people.
David are you sitting down mostly when you are at work? Are you getting up and stretching enough? Do you sit on a full cushion? Can you bring a sock/rice bag with you and heat it? I know it's a lot of ?'s but these things might help you. Like Superduck said it might be time for a new pain med too. It's too bad it's so hot outside and you can't stretch out in your car on your lunch break.
Hugs to all of my Roomies,
Toni
I'm love working w/ beads too. Made a couple necklaces for Christmas last yr. Hope to do more. I have beads I bought as far back as 11990 plus I buy old, broken jewelry at yard sales and re-purpose it. So much fun!!
It feels like I was just here. I'm doing pretty good this morning. Pain levels are decent.
I'm going to get ready for work in a minute. I work from 7:00 - 3:30 on this particular job, so the hours are not bad. I am an electrician, and my position is a lead man, or working supervisor. I do commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Well, gotta go. I'll be watching at work. Let's keep posting.
I hope everyone has a great day.
Hugs,
David.
I am so a craftier too, love beads, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking and embroidery. Anything else I can get my hands on to. I woke up to a start went to the bathroom opened the door to someone I never seen before in my life changing clothes turned out to be a friend of my sons, how embarrassing for him and me. Question wouldnt you lock the door to the bathroom if you were not in your home and changing come on that is weird. We are a family of door lockers so we never knock if it is locked some one is in there.
Have a great day everyone
well Manny...at least it was not your sons' girlfriend in your bathroom this morning! Ha :-)
@ Nealy
Gee...Im sorry Nealy...is there an upcoming celebration for you??? What is going on in your world that deserves celebrating??? Oh, and by the way...when are you done with those stinkin treatments???
LMAO!
@ David
David...Please be careful getting your jobs done. I just worry about you stubborn men so much because you WONT take care of yourself like you should. I know you are probably pushing yourself a litle too hard, Biting your tongue a little at times. Masking your pain to "get back to normal". Please, please let your wife and friends help you, let your crew know you need a litle extra leeway and allow yourself to sit it down once and a while ok?? PUHLEEZE????
@ Toni
I am not suprised that you should be Martha Stewarts rival...I wish you were here to teach me a few things. I am just going to have to start doing it and if the first things are ugly....I will just start over and try again. Head pins are not that expensive....a bag of 20 is only a buck or two. I bought new tools and nice beads...so those are what I want to be careful with. I also purchased surgical steel fish hooks for earrings...I hope to make gifts, not ugly wire creatures! HAA :-) HUGS to you Ms. Toni!!!
@ all ----HUGGLES as Lovebaby8 would say. HEHHEEH
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ME>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Going to the Dr. today to fight about medication and see what kind of crap she wants to put me through...(long story) but, I hope the outcome is good. I have to taxi my son to meet his friends so they can run amuck through the city. Little duck is getting back on anti-psychotics per the Psych yesterday-----she is hearing new voices and responding to them....not a good sign...but, I am very glad that this one does not scare her like some of the others.
HUGS my friends...Happy day to you all!!!!
Manny what did the dr tell you? Did I miss this somewhere?
Hugs my friends all my little crafters,
Toni
I am doing about the same. I see my PM doc this afternoon and we'll talk about the SCS success. I'm sure he'll be pleased. We will also talk about a med change.
This thread is here for us to share how we're feeling, doing, needing, etc............
I hope others will continue to use this to keep us posted ( pun intended).
Big Hugs,
David.
We're getting some much needed rain today so we'll get a break from this awful heat.
I think my doc made the right call on adding the amitriptyline, I can tell a difference in my pain levels and actually sleeping is doing me alot of good too.
Today is chat and I hope most of you can make it...
HUGS!
I hope you all are doing as good as possible.
Saw my PM doc today. Everything is looking good. Made a rx change. I'll go back in a month and see how the new medication is working out.
I'll see the surgeon tomorrow who did the SCS. I'm sure all will go well with that.
All ya'll have a great day.
Hugs,
David.
I'll be glad when it's over, and have a definite answer about what caused the lump. I always tend to think the worst, which I know isn't a good thing.
Hugs to all. I hope that your pain is low, and spirits are high. xxx
