good morning all! i got up super early to took breakfast for the kids before it gets to hot out today. Today is supposed to be our last scorcher before we have have normall fall wether finally wahoo!!!!!! i'm looking forward to it. i've been complaining about the heat all summer. i'm done.

here when hubby gets up i'm doing my 10 min abs workout. i'm getting rid of this gut once and for alll muahahahahah!

We had a special service at church today to honor our local first responders and remembrance of the terrible act of terrorism 10 years ago. It was tough at times.

Just getting home now, getting settled in. Rocco is good. I plan on just chillin' for the rest of the day.

Check-in for Sunday. I'm getting discouraged and down-in-the-dumps. Seems I'm back to where I can't do anything without triggering pain that ruins the rest of my day. This morning I got up and went to a local flea market... I've been looking for an apartment size washer forever so this is a good place to check. Two dryers there but no washer. Spent maybe 1/2 hr walking around checking things out and been down in pain ever since. I'm taking all the bt meds I'm allowed and it helps but not great. I know many are so much worse off but its still hard when it hurts all the time.

I did a little too much earlier in the day. I made muffins, gave my son's girlfriend a haircut, made cookies...floors are still dirty, though. Oh well, I can only do what I can. Looking forward, with some trepidation, to seeing a new Ortho on Tuesday. Should be interesting...

Lisa, don't worry about whether your pain is more or less than someone elses. We all have pain and it is ours to own. Be kind to yourself.

Had a great Sunday, went to church, great sermon. Then went to put boat away for the winter, and spent the afternoon with my inlaws, had a wonderful lunch, eating out on the deck of resturant overlooking the lake. So all in all a great day. Husband was in a great mood after Saturday's men christian retreat. He needed it, to get away and not think about work or illness.

Saturday was a busy day,went to Springfield to see work comp. Atty. Went and looked at a couple Blazers found I wasn't in the mood went by Sonic picked up lunch and a milkshake and went to the Apartment to look it over and pickup some stuff that he won't need there for the next couple of days.Wedsday we are giving up the apartment and it'll need cleaned.
Came home and went and bought some food stuff we were out of and then went to small airport to watch remote control jets fly.
Sept. 11th was spent watching all the 9/11/2001.So it's been a emotional day. It's still so unbeliveable after 10 years.I mean it still,feels like yesterday. I live no were near any of it.Didn't know anyone,involved. AWW. I've talked my self back into tears for everyone.

I started off thinking I was going to keep pain down to a dull roar, but even after med, it's roaring as loud as ever. My knee is so bad that my hips, legs, feet and well...everything is involved. Though it's not a workday, I have a list of things I need to accomplish and I can't seem t find my starting point. Pain paralyzes my cognitive skills!

David...you do realize that most of the training will be directed at you, not Rocco!!!!

Hugs to all. Was really lazy yesterday so today, I'm going to try to get some things done. Tomorrow, errands again. ugh. Still working on the farmhouse and then it will be helping hubby's mom to move. Going to be a busy couple of wks.

Doing OK so far. Today is the first day of school for Rocco, again. Or should I say for me (lol). He's a great dog and I can't wait to grow closer to him as man's best friend.

I always thought there was something wrong with that, because diamonds are a woman's best friend??????????

I wish this was positive, but the only thing I have is that I feel positively crappy. I really overdid it this weekend and I'm paying an awful price. Today is a rest day for me, I have a feeling it may take several days to recover.
I'm a little down in the dumps today because all the pain is making me feel useless. I did sleep but I knew I'd be a wreck today. When we got home last night I couldn't stand up straight and hurt so bad I growled at my family just to get them to leave me alone because I didn't want them to see how bad I was.
I hope I can pick myself back up later but for now I'm a pretty awful sight.

Mike, I'm sorry your in so much pain. I told you to take it easy and not dance away the night. What did you do? Were you out there doing the worm , the twist , the limbo or what. I was going to name some of the younger dances but I wasn't sure you'd know what they are. Lol just kidding . Trying to make you smile . Did it work? I bet I know what did it it wasn't the dancing on the floor it was the dancing in the sheets. Right?

My week end was great. My don and his kids were here and of course the girls and I had our party all night theme going on. So we had some late nights. We played soccer , volleyball, hockey, basketball and took a few walks. They got in the hot tub in the evening , which they all enjoy. Grandpa ( hubby) and I went out and bought all the grandkids new bike for when they are here and they were so excited it was light Christmas morning faces. To see their little eyes light up is all worth the money and time we put into the surprise. Then they asked if they could call the other grandkids and show them theirs bikes and the ones they got themselves. So I went and got my phone and put them on face time so they could see each other while they talk and so them their bikes. It was so cute and exciting. Our four yr old grandson called the other four yr old grandson and it was one of those laugh so hard you'd all most wet your pants times. So my weekend was awesome!!!!! I send al of you huge hugs to start your week and gentle hugs to thipose are hurting and praying that your pain levels go down.

Morning to all,

I had a great weekend with my children and grandchildren. Kylie and Kegan spent the night friday night and saturday our other two granddaughters and Kylie spent the night. What fun to watch the three girls play their games and have so much fun. On Sunday spent time with both sons, one DIL and met my oldest sons new girlfriend and her son. This is big on the oldest son because he does not introduce a girlfriend into his children's life unless it is serious. Less sleep and some extra pain was worth it.

Susie sounds like you had a nice family weekend also. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when you surprised the grandchildren with their new bikes.

Mike you did a lot this weekend. I wish I could have seen the hot air balloons. I bet they were beautiful. Hope you recover today and are able to say all the fun was worth the pain.
By Sunday I was really feeling quite grumpy. I am looking for a better day today.

Randy (twetch) really good to hear you voice. I hope you pop in here often. A great place to catch up and also let us know how you are doing or just saying "hi". David has really done a great job in hooking us up with this.

Foof I hope today is a cooler day for you. I have been there in the heat. Your part of the country just doesn't do much with A/C. If it cools off at night and the windows are covered during the day it is tolerable. Wishing you beautiful fall days. Saw your new goal and love it.

Toni what is the flavor of the week on icecream? Mine is BlueBell birthday cake. They are doing it with chocolate cake now and icing and sprinkles. Yum!!!!

Training went good. He got to eat cheese and chicken hot dogs for treats. Found out we weren't spoiling him too bad, and we were pretty much right on with the potty training.

Anyway, of course we have homework, and he gets treats................who's getting the obedience training???
