I know DS members have helped me alot!
I do withdrawel at times and I feel like I really don't fit, because I am not that great at writing out my thoughts and feelings. I may withdrawel and feel like I don't belong, because of depression, as we all go thru bouts of it at times.
I do like everyone and try to be helpful when I can.

Yesterday DS was acting funny, couldn't see alot of post to respond.

Good morning. I woke up to see my sweet little girl sleeping next to me. That makes my happy.
We did pedicures last night and listened to Taylor Swift all night when we weren't listening to Bruno Mars.Our 3 three year old grandson taught his grandfather how to play Leggo game on PlayStation . We learn so much from our grandchildren.

Rhonda you always fit. I think when I am feeling my lowest is when my DS friends are important. Now I know to hunt you down when you don't speak

I will be thinking of you all this weekend and am sending out many positive thoughts. Both of my sons have birthdays this week so I will be making their favorite deserts. That's right Duckie you will be making those cookies for your son the rest of your life. They grow up but they are always our babies.

Not too bad today, only slept 6 hours but that's sleeping in for me.
My pain isn't to terrible and we're planning on going to a wedding later and hoping that I hold up well enough to stay late at the reception.
I didn't have alot of luck with the site yesterday and from what I've been reading, it wasn't just me.
Rhonda, you fit just fine, and we all get that way from time to time.
Don't think I'll have much time to be on here today but I'll probably check in late tonight if I survive. My wife's ready to blow off some steam tonight and I just hope I can keep up.

Good Morning, friends! The sun is shining here again today! YAY! I am hurting this morning, but it's my own fault...spent 9 hours in the kitchen yesterday, and although gratifying, my back and knees aren't too happy today. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

i don't know why everyone is saying rhonda fits (don't get me wrong you do and we like having you here) i just don't know why everyone is saying it (brain fog) did i miss a post? LOL

anyhoo my ankle is doing a little better, i was off it for a few days iceing and elevating, now i'm doing light work around the house. I lite a fire under my oldest kid and hubbys butt to get the dishes done.

i got up early today to enjoy the cool air, it only cooled down to 60 degrees last night so my house is already warm. I like getting my things done when its still cool. the heat takes it outta me.

Good afternoon my friends. It's cloudy and rain all night. Looks like rain again. My body is letting me know that I abuse it . I steamed all the tile and wood floors and steps on the first floor last night since i was bore. First time in a long time. Usually have a house full. They Look so shiney and clean. Now I just have to remember when I'm going down the steps that they are slick and don't fall on my big tushy. My son will be coming with the kids today so I must figure out what to do with them since its a little chilling for swimming. I'm sure they will still want to get in since it's heated. If anyone has any ideas for a good craft or something let me know. I'm don't in that winter frame of mind yet usually have those figured out before they come. All is well with me but still fighting infection from my mouth surgery but is finally showing signs of improvements. I go in wedesday for another surgery so that means another infection. Never fails I always get infections and have one H of a time getting rid of them. Hope everyone has a great weekend . Hugs to all and get wells to all of you that's hurt. Ducky get OUT of bed and Kansass don't enjoy the reception TOO much. Lol be safe

Checking in for Saturday. Felt ok this morning, got out of bed by 9 am and went to 3 or 4 yard sales. Then bf took me out to eat and then to the thrift store. Well that was too much for me without a rest break in the middle so I'm laying down, took my bt meds and waiting to feel a bit better so I can go shower. I'm having a hard time reading the posts today, my eyes just won't focus and things seem to be jumping around on me. Feels like when my FMS was bad, I've been thinking alot of my additional pain lately could be a FMS flare and this pretty much confirms it.... darn-it-all anyway, I didn't need this.

Not much happening here. It's still raining and it's suppose to do so 2 more days at least. I'm just laying around and being lazy. Lessons for a quarter! LOL!

Good Morning all. Sorry I didn't ck. in yesterday. Stayed busy all day. Went to our little Farmer's Market early yesterday morning for fresh veggies (since the deer destroyed our gardens and we have none). Then came home and baked a Pina Colada Cake. Went to a little get-together at my Brother's house. Mongolian cookout and music. Actually played the drums for a few minutes (poorly as I haven't touched them in almost a yr:>}. Was pretty aggravated at Hubby for a bit. He just HAD to try to weed eat knowing that it would kill him and we had plans for the afternoon!!! We actually stayed at the cookout for abt. 5 hours. Of course, my brother thought we were leaving far too early. Just can't "get it" that a few hours is all we can take.

Plan to take it easy today. Read, maybe cook a few veggies. The cooler weather here is a nice break from all the heat of summer but as usual, any change in the weather carries pain as our bodies adjust. Love to all.

Good morning all,
well I survived the wedding and reception last night but I'm still picking up the pieces of my family. Ha ha!
I'm paying some, my legs hurt and I'm sitting here charging my butt. (Charging the SCS)
I had her cranked pretty high last night.
My wife got to blow off some steam and her and my oldest boy tore up the dance floor. I got my one dance in with my wife and that made her happy. I didn't get trashed but my wife wasn't feeling anything and she passed out shortly after we got home. She still hasn't crawled out of bed yet and it's after 9 here.
The wedding was fun and I made it through pretty well. Now we have more plans for this evening and I've got to put the pieces back together so we can pull that off.
The Topeka balloon rally is tonight and my wifes mom and husband have a camper out there and we plan on spending the evening with them and cooking out. My youngest loves balloons (the reason for my avatar) and it's always a beautiful site to see all the colorful balloons lifting off and reflecting in the lake. Should be a wonderful evening and I intend to kick back and just enjoy the view. No dancing tonight,ha ha!
I'm scared to think what Monday will bring after all we've done this weekend. Whatever is left of me will probably check in and let you know.

Good morning my friends

I am laying in bed and I have had a good last couple of days physically. It has been a nice reprieve. I have backed down on all meds except the morphine. It has been hotter than a pizza oven here and I am ready to explode the sun to keep it from continuing.
My only phone charger has taken a dump and the kids and I share one usually because they have lost the other two. Now...I have no phone battery until I charge it in the car for a 1/2 hour or so...Crap!

Hello friends...Today is kind of a somber day for me. I've been watching the ceremonies surrounding the events of September 11th, and just feel sad. I remember trying to work through this in therapy 10 years ago. I didn't lose anyone that day...but so many did, and my heart goes out to them. This is a day that has changed the course of our country forever.
