I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting back.
Walking greatly improves my mental health too. I'm feeling less irritable and depressed after walking.
I want this to be a support thread for people who exercise and eat healthy so if you do any of that post here!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I hiked to the top of a mountain this morning.
I quit smoking almost a year ago now and I've started volunteering my next big thing is get in shape.. This post inspires me....x
A regular enjoyable route is a good idea to avoid the temptation of going too far and getting too tired. I have a circuit that I cycle 2 -3 times a week. It's an hours cycle round trip but I have options for which roads I use depending on how energetic I feel...
The basic route is pretty flat, it's a bit longer but great for those I need to mellow days. The intense route involves a hill that, lol, really challenges me... I do this on days I want to push myself, and sometimes the bike, rofl...
I didn;t have the energy to work out today, I woke up feeling like poo but I had purchased a bike on black friday for mom online saving me $75.00 at a dirt cheap price, better than a used priced bike. It came in and I had to go pick it up and I have a very, very small car. I had to try to squish this bike into my car and fought it for at least 30 minutes with the handlebars hanging out the window. I was drenched head to toe and drank two bottles of water.
I think that qualifies as a work out!
Gives new meaning to the phrase "exercise equipment"
I want to get back to being active again. The 1st of the year we are moving the horses to a GREAT stable just five miles from the house. After that I will be able to go back to riding three or four times a week. THAT will help me get back in shape!
I've picked up a few pounds since just before TG after losing about 20 and really need to re-focus my efforts. One thing that always gets in my way is the constant urge to isolate...so even when I'd enjoy a walk outside or going to the gym, the stupid avoidance things always rears its head.
We add an additional 10 seconds each day to our wall sit until we reach 300 seconds on day 30. So far, so good.
Our goal is to keep doing 30 day challenges.
I hiked over 2 miles today.
I did 13 seconds of my wall sit today. I was supposed to go up to 20 seconds today, but I could not hold it. Still, 13 seconds left my legs, abdominal muscles, and lower back stiff after I woke from a nap!
Tomorrow I am hopeing to go out and groom out my horse. My cough is still too bad to ride, but I can at least brush him out!
Good job guys ;)
