I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting back.
Walking greatly improves my mental health too. I'm feeling less irritable and depressed after walking.

I want this to be a support thread for people who exercise and eat healthy so if you do any of that post here!

Good for you, Rizen. I'm really overwhelmed with teaching all online for the first time this final exams week, so I'm only getting to my walk at 10:30pm tonight instead of during the day. But I'm going to bundle up and go out into the cold night for it right now anyway.

Its been really cold and icy out so I've been pacing around inside the past few days.

It's good to pace, at least, if it's too cold and icy to walk outside, Rizen. It's not icy here, so I braved the cold and got 2 walks in today. I had a great weight from it, though, so it was worth the cold.

Sounds really cold you two. Here it’s not too bad. I’m just sort of stuck inside because I have to wear a splint 3 hours a day and I am really sore. I hope to be back to my normal routine in the next few months.

Yeah, it's been really cold. I'm peeved today, though, because my new sneakers rubbed 2 bloody blisters on my foot in yesterday's 2nd walk. Bummer, it's done me so much weight loss good and mental good both. Nothing compared to your splint I saw in last week's photo, but I do have to let them heal. Grr.

I put a few bandaids on those bloody blisters today. They came off while I was walking, so I only got one walk in, not two like I'd been doing lately. But one was good. While I was out I bought another bigger pair of sneakers just in case the size was the problem. Hope you're getting out and walking in spite of things, too, Rizen.

Glad the weather got warmer, Rizen, so that you were able to get out from just pacing inside for a real walk. I got some new bandaids on my blisters and got one walk in today. Don't think I'll make it to two, but one's pretty good under these circumstances. H0pe the weather's in your favor again tomorrow and hope my blisters heal soon.

Happy to hear you both were able to get out and walk a bit. Muji, I hate when shoes don’t fit properly. Have you tried blister bandages? They add a cushion around the blister. Here is a link:

My blisters are almost all healed now, Rizen, and the weather turned so warm I got TWO walks in today. How about you?
