I've had many near misses, and still fall back into old patterns very easily. It will be a long time before I get over my lying problem. I wish everyone luck on their journey towards honesty. My personal relationships are still in a very shaky place, and my next big project will be to try to repair them. Hi everyone. My name is Max and I am a liar. I've made it to day 10, which is a good thing. I think I've lost my wife in the process by admitting one too many mistakes, but I guess I had that coming. They were all my screw-ups after all. I've been away from home for work for 2 months, and I'm pretty sure I'll becoming back to an empty apartment. This is the lowest I've felt yet. I'm going to try to keep going with my honesty program. Progress is going to get much, much more difficult from now on. Good luck to everyone else on their journey. I was late today. My first inclination was to make up a story. But I didn't!! No one cared!! This illusion that we need to protect ourselves to appear unblemished is rediculous! Stick with the truth as it will set you free!!
