Hi All, going well heading into the festive season. Will be around my family a lot in the next week or so, and will have to focus more than ever. Taking time, listening, and communicating properly are the keys.

Checking in today is much better no family drama. I am still doing well through the vacation making sure I post and follow up. Been honest no problems there just need to keep going and continuing it.

It's been quite some time since I've posted on this site, but I did wish to revisit and encourage each of you in the work you're doing to overcome the compulsive lying. It is not an easy path but it can be done with daily efforts. Yes there will be slips on occassion as it is difficult to break old and deeply embedded habits, but it can be done and life is so much better lie-free.

I celebrated one year of 'sobriety' yesterday and I don't say this to brag or to receive congratulations, i say this to tell you it can be done. I was and have the potential to revert to a hard core liar - my therapist suggested I was one of the worse liars she has ever seen and yet here I am.

Because of the support of those on this group, my therapist, attending online and f2f meetings, turning my life over to a Higer Power as I understand that Power and working the program every single day, I've made progress. I'm living proof that you can do it too. Life has never been so good - and I wish the same for each of you. Happy Holidays to all.

hi my name is alex. i was a liar. today is day 28 of being honest for me.

Hey Merry Christmas Eve Everyone, I missed two days of checking in, so I'm checking in now :-). But so far today marks my fourth day of honesty. I have slipped up once or twice but I've been making sure to catch myself. So far I've been staying positive and hoping that one day I can be just like you (borntorun) and hoping that by this time next year I too can celebrate my anniversary of sobriety from being a compulsive liar.

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope everyone can have a lie free holiday and get to spend some time quality time with friends and family. I am having a good time we well doing present opening and I am remaining positive I hope I do not screw this day up.

Check in yesterday was nice family dinner we celebrated my wife grandparents anniversary. Things are good today we are thinking of taking kids out to arcade and such. I am doing well keeping up with forum and staying honest.

I have had a hectic 2 days of celebrating Christmas with both sides of the family. I've managed to be honest, and have felt very good at talking to others and even asking them more questions, rather than pretending to know what they're talking about (releasing that ego).

Feels good to be honest, and to know that what we say is the truth. Just slowing down in what I say has been tremendous.

Hello there internet friends. This is my first time attempting something like this. I just am pretty desperate to seek help and want to really better myself as a person. I just want to stop lying and be completely honest with myself and onto others. I have made some progress in recent years but I would like to make even more progress; especially with the upcoming new year.

Checking in last day of vacation dreading to go back home tomm. Things are pretty calm and family has been great we got to spend decent amount of time. I have honest and good with keeping up posting. I'll have quit a bit of things to do when I get back home.

Checking in. Still going strong here. Wife and I are going out today, so will be good to see how we go. Will make sure I think before speaking. Have been honest and told my wife everything I've been doing.

Checking in. Still no more lies here. It's about 8 days here now. I had an episode of arrogance though, where I thought I knew better than my wife, and turned out to be wrong. Need to let those things go, or frame the comment in a different way. It was another good lesson.

Wife wasn't too happy, but at least t wasn't a lie.

Today was last day of our vacation. I made it through week and it was very nice I been honest and things worked out good now it is back to realty and work.
