I found this helpful.
Know want you want.
If you want better and change
Then mean it. If you do, then failure is not an option.
work hard at it. Surround yourself with positive things and people.
And remember. Your not alone. Everyone has problems. It's the attitude that matters.
Good hunting
I missed posting yesterday. so here it is now. And I'll post again late tonight for today.
Part of who I am is a coward. ( As I don't like confrontation)
I realized that I was ignoring and avoiding my wife, through telling myself " I don't know what to say". Sure, I was interacting with her but in little ways. How are you? Do you want a cup of tea? Are you hungry? And never start anything of any substance. All because I'm afraid to face the truth I guess.
Anyway. I started something of a conversation and throughout I was confronted with hard words and things that I do as a liar.
It was all true, and without getting in a tangle I let it all go as she has every right to be angry. I stood my ground when I was told that I will never change Though. That made me upset, but I held it together because I new the truth of what I want. Even if I lose her.
I do not want to be a liar. I do not want to be a coward. I do know want I want. At least a big part of what want. And that's to be happy.
And I really want her do be apart of that.
Going on day 62 no lies except 1 where I ended up correcting myself... I'm very proud to be lie free, it hasn't been easy but to those who I speak with and hold me accountable Thank you :) I couldn't do it without you!
Day 2 - Working to be more humble and not arrogant.
The week has been very exhausting and stressful. My wife and I have been getting on each others nerves in the past couple of days. It is day 57 of not lying for me today.
Have been honest all week, although I have probably not been as vigilant when it comes to thinking about what I have to say, thus I have said some silly things, and been annoying to wife at times. I put it down to moving and being tired, but that really is an excuse, so I need to start afresh and remember to think about what to say before speaking or I will lie.
Good luck all.
Day 29 - no lies, no dramatic exaggerations, no omissions.
Day 3 - Working to be more humble and not arrogant.
For me
For her.
