Another day no lying
Lied to my doctor Friday morning.... I had a check-up and lied to the doctor saying that I didn't use tobacco except in rare cases. The truth is that I like to use Camel Snus pouches after breakfast and lunch and usually on the drive home. I lied because it is a huge hassle to be a federal worker and a tobacco user... enough that it significantly affects your career... Can anyone weigh in on this?
So it's back to day two for me (being Sunday now).

Day 4 - Working to be more humble and not arrogant.
Chaser490. I'm interested. I'll get back to reply if I can.
For now... At least you acknowledged it. A step forward. little things are a huge victory.
Day 1 - Came off as arrogant and didn't realize it in an email. I understand what I did and I apologized sincerely. Restarting the counter. Each day is a learning experience.
Whilst I've not being lying, I've probably slacked off a bit in regards to making sure I think about what I say, etc. Have to make sure I concentrate and stay focused, be alert.
PS - Alsome, you need to be upfront and not hide those gaps. The right job will come along for you. If you were to get employed, then you could possibly be found out for those gaps. Honesty is always the best way. You will also feel more secure about yourself if you know you are being you, and not pretending to be someone else.
Day 2 - Working to be more humble and not arrogant.
