Is it weird that I can NOT wait to inject myself with scary needles and drugs!?!? Oye vey! I was soooo nervous I would have a huge cyst, but so far cyst free! I go back Monday for monitoring.
Is it such a relieving feeling to have dates for both of you. I am so anxious (mostly that's just my personality) to get dates and actually know what is going on in my life for a few weeks. I have literally run every possible date through my calendars and checked and cross checked dates, it can be maddening. The only date I am not looking at is due date bc I am also superstitious that I will jinx something or who knows. With that being said, we are right on par to be at the exact, and I mean to the hour, of the dates of our first of three pregnancies that we lost :( it's sad and comforting all at the same time. That's all that's going on in my neck of the woods.
Leah drive safely tomorrow! I'm in Chicago and we were going to head up to my parents house in Coloma, but we didn't want to get snowed in. That's so nice that you can do your monitoring closer to home then only have to go to GR for a few apts. Good luck tomorrow I hope your follies are growing nice big eggs!
Kdeezy hope all is good with you and AF is here or coming so you can join the AF party!
I'm so glad we all are on board now!!!!
I'm scared as hell to drive to GR tomorrow.... 8" snow?!? Of course on the day I have to drive an hour and 45 mins each way!!!
Hope the injections go well!!! I've got only two bruises so far, I think I'm doing good with it (:
I think I'm doing the Heparin and aspirin for immune issues, I have hasimotos and celiac, and bc of the miscarriages. Or it could just be endo protocol I don't know. I will ask though Monday bc it's 1ml twice a day which seems like a ton!
Fx for nice big follies!
My ultrasound went much better than the travel time to and from my appointment, thank you for asking (: We were on the road for a total of 5 hours today. It sucked dick. But of course, I drove (my husband tends to have winter time anger towards other drivers.)
The appointment was good, it was just strange having an ultrasound and the bloodwork done at the actual RE office!
I have 4-6 follicles on the right and 4 on the left. 2 are close to being mature but they said they want the others bigger too.
So, doing another 2 nights of the follistim 450iu and Menopur and Ganirelix then an ultrasound/bloodwork scheduled for Monday at 8AM!
The nurse estimates my retrieval to be more like Tuesday or Wednesday now.... Home stretch!!!!!!!!!
Wishing you girls a very happy weekend!!
I'm starting to feel pretty bloated and full-bellied!
Everything gets done in my local hospital tomorrow... But it takes a long time for results though.
Hopefully I will know tomorrow afternoon just exactly what the plan is!
When's your next ultrasound?? Getting excited?!
I got the go ahead for the trigger (hcg IM is what he used this time)! My husband did a fabulous job giving it to me at 10:02 PM (: We watched videos online and because I'm a nurse I felt confident I taught him well (: My first of many IM injections, hopefully!!
So, of course the retrieval is scheduled for the asscrack of dawn on Wednesday AM and I won't be able to work the night before because of how far away the RE office is. And will have to be off the night of the retrieval too. But, oh well, the worst they can do is write me up....
But I'm feeling kind of down because of how few follicles I have produced.... They are guesstimating only 7-8. Which we know will be much lower after the icsi.... So, trying not to be sad about it... It's out of my control now and I did all I possibly could to produce more. IDK what else I could have done.
In other fun news, my husband agreed we could stay in GR for a few nights and he was given time off work without issue.
So we will get to have Valentine's Day dinner a week early while we're there (I have to work the day of V day). I'm excited to go to a fancy fun place!!! If anything it will keep my mind off things!!
Thinking and hoping you grow lots more follies than I did!!!!!
Thank you to both of you ladies for being there for me!!
What do you mean you felt 80%!?!?!? So scary! Rest up and relax. Get your body ready for your little beans! I'm very happy for you and can't wait to hear how you are doing!
