Leah hope you are doing well, can't wait to hear more updates!
You guys deserve the world and I just know good things are going to happen to you both very soon!!! Sending love and hope
Karen - hope your two is flying by! How are you feeling? Hope you are keeping busy.
We are on Stim day 8, just added ganirelix to help even the eggs out, but so far we are looking better than the last time, except for that bitch estrogen! She's always late to the gathering. Go back tomorrow but the nurse said max three more days of stims then trigger. I think I love this protocol! So much better than stimming for 14 days!
I'm feeling good- finally have some symptoms and very happily experiencing them! I go in on Monday for the first ultrasound in Grand Rapids. I'm a nervous wreck and feel like I need to be bubble wrapped or kept inside a glass cage. I think obviously the infertility makes me crazy worried, but now my nursing knowledge is bursting with "what if" scenarios.
I pray every night for you and Karen. I want you guys to join me more than anything!!!
Sending hugs!
I am 4DP5DT. I've been having cramps...I think. Endo has ruined my perception of actual uterine cramping and pain that's less than severe, so I keep thinking I'm imagining it. My beta is on Cinco de Mayo. If it's negative I am going to drink 5 or 6 margaritas. Maybe 7.
Leah I can't wait to hear about your ultrasound!
Karen how are you doing? Six more days right!?!? I think I read you aren't poas which is very strong of you! I can't do it but totally understand the reasoning and jealous I don't have your will power :) I have been thinking about you so much hoping you are staying strong!
We get to trigger tonight, which of course was a day longer than we originally thought, but whatever. My estrogen is lower than last time, but I have more mature (by size on ultra) eggs, and more eggs right on the edge of 16, so only time will tell if this protocol worked. I'm not letting myself feel anything this time. I'm just happy to get the the ER.
Got our fertilization report, ended up getting 8, 6 were mature, and all 6 fertilized so we are doing a five day transfer. I'm trying not to freak out but that's not happening.
Ok so need some advice, I'm feeling really guilty because last night we had a couples shower and I had two glasses of wine over a 6 hour time period! I know I shouldn't feel this way, all our "children" are cooking in a Petri dish less than five miles away but I'm still somehow engulfed in the guilt. It was a really nice distraction, now I just need like two more weeks of distractions, minus the wine! Am I being paranoid?
OMG girl, please don't beat yourself up over a drink! You deserve it!!!!! And they're not even in you yet!! lol! If you could see what I see at work and the amount of drugs, etc. that babies are ok with. A glass of wine isn't anything to worry about! I had a few hard apple ciders in between retrieval and transfer too.
So happy you will be able to do a 5 day transfer! Yay!!
Hopefully we will have at least one 5-day left. I contemplated calling today to have them just check, but it took every ounce in me to just go with the flow, something I am not good at!
Casey- I feel like the reigns are letting up a bit as we continue on the ridiculous path of IF.
Cheers to bfp's ;)
Transfer is tomorrow, and that is when we will find out how many we have left, praying we have one!
