Hi All
We are just finishing up our pre-IVF testing and paperwork to begin our lovely journey with IVF. I was diagnosed via lap with stage IV endo in September. Previously i have responded well to Clomid and menopur with iui's, in fact we got pregnant 3 of the 4 cycles, just lost them very early each time :(
I started bcp on 12/26 and am scheduled to start lupron 1/19 if all goes well. Just wondering what your protocols were, how long the cycle went from bcp to egg retrieval, and how well you did and responded to meds with the endo.

I'm on day 2 of Micro Dose Lupron, starting the Follistim 450 IU and the Human Gold, oops-I mean Growth, Hormone.

I'll start Estrace on day 1 which should be around 4/5. My protocol is less estrogen this time and I confirmed that we're transferring my last 2 blasts at once. This had better fucking work!!
Leah- are you already stimming!?!? That is awesome if you are! That was so quick!
Karen- did you get your calendar figured out? Why are you starting lower, is it because you will be going up? I'm confused and hate that I don't understand the estrogen priming, sorry! I'm so glad you confirmed the two transfer!
We haven't had the iui yet, only cd 9 so I go back tomorrow for blood and ultra. There was a different ultra tech on Thursday when I went and I hated every second of the scan. She only measured 1/2 of the follies that my normal tech does so that was interesting. Also I think I have a cyst :( I'm going to verify with the good tech tomorrow. We leave in 8 days so I hope we can get this all done! Thinking about you guys and hope you have a great weekend!

They talked a lot about infertility and how we need to 'come out of the closet' so to speak and have a voice. They mentioned how with breast cancer people used to not talk about it because it involves boobs, and now everyone talks about it. They said the only way that endo can make a real impact is if we put a face to this and tell people our stories.

Leah, I know your ovaries are feeling ginormous. I can't wait to find out if you have more follies even though eight is great!! 10 points for me for unintentional rhymes.
Katie, you've been awfully quiet lately, how's it going? I still can't believe you're cramming in an IUI this month. You are amazing! And to answer your question, I'm starting on a lower dose of estrogen and then slowly building it up as opposed to going full-on balls to the wall right out of the gate like last time. My estrogen levels were through the roof before my transfer and they think it affected my lining quality.

Karen you are almost there! About a week left! Hoping for an on time and uneventful AF! I read your journal entry and feel the same way with all of this and the fb announcements. I'm so done!
I've been trying to preoccupy my time away from obsessing over this shitty stuff, the numbers, the killing veins, the shots, the everything. I'm really getting sick of it. It never ends. Of course my estrogen is all f'ed up, not rising and while I have many eggs this time, they haven't matured yet so everything's still up in the air! And to top it all off we leave in two days, so I don't know what's going on as usual! Just frustrated, annoyed and want to be done with all of this. Hope you all have a great week if anything crazy happens I'll let you all know!

This is the iui cycle which never ended up resulting in an iui, weird right? In typical fashion my estrogen didn't rise quickly enough but I did trigger the night before we left then we just bd'ed. I don't have high hopes but glad we tried at least. On to another ivf after this!
I'm out...... It's a negative but nothing more than I expected. I started spotting so I called and they let me do my beta this morning. No regrets for me though glad we tried! Now onto ivf #2.
Karen I think you are close! I can't wait for you to join the bfp team with Leah! How are you holding up? When is the exact transfer date and beta!?!?
We started stims yesterday but tomorrow I am completing the recurrent pregnancy loss panel so if we need to add, change, or modify anything we will hopefully be able to. We are doing a short protocol with Bravelle 300, menopur 225, lovenox, and baby aspirin. Is this similar to yours Leah. Once I get to around 13-14 we are adding ganirelix until trigger. Hoping this is our miracle cycle and I can join the bfp party!
