So I say don't listen anymore to the news on whether they fragment. You KNOW you're going to have one implanted, what difference does it make? Take it easy and start eating ice cream, listening to holiday tunes, and chilling out (no hot baths though!) and enjoy the few days prior to implantation.
This is sooooo exciting and I have no doubt it will work well. Huge hugs.
Yay Melry!!
Hopefully, enjoy your couch, begging day :) sticky baby dust to both of you!!
We have ER tomorrow morning, went for acupunture this morning and feel ready for this. Fingers crossed this is a bumper BFP month for all of us.
bjs x
Can't wait to hear BFP's like bells. I too don't mind seeing BFP's on the board - but am sensitive especially after the huge fight that was on the main board a few weeks ago.
Anyone sensitive? If so PLEASE speak up so we don't hurt feelings.
So hearing the sticky thoughts reminded me of cinnabons. Maybe I'll have to get hubby to get me some after my implant day (lol).
Baby dust to you all, we are going tomorrow to have the first monitoring test post-shots. I'm on day 3 of shots and thus far it has been much easier than I expected, although my pants are already fitting tight. Could that be? Must be water weight...or turkey and stuffing...
The lab called back and said there are 1 or 2 that are really standing out so they scheduled me for an ET tomorrow morning. If the other embryos catch up by tomorrow they will cancel the ER and reschedule it for tues. so now I'm trying to remain calm.
Hopefully and Nive..... Yea!!! Best of luck to u!!!
Whimsical...it's not tmi!!! I didn't have the ET but I am still hurting from the ER. I am super bloated, crampy and gassy!! My abs even feel sore like I just had an ab workout! But I agree its all worth it!! Sticky baby dust to us all!!!!
The process was different this time (2nd IVF) - last time the anestethic was with gas, but this time if was an intravenous injection. Went out light a light but I think I woke a little two soon - the RE was still doing things down there, and then I felt lots of watch as if they were washing me (apologies for the tmi). When I returned to the recovery room I cried! Stikk not sure why, I think it was a mixture of relief and hoping that this would be our time. I just wanted hubbie to be by my side.
RE reckons we're going to do a 3 day transfer so it'll be ET on Wed! We hear tmrw how many fertilized, fingers crossed.
Endo, good luck with your blood work tmrw, and Melry I hope you get to transfer tmrw. Whim, I remember I drove myself crazy last time trying to figure out every twinge in my body, the testosterone can do very strange things to us! Fingers crossed it early pregnancy signs!
Let this be a bumper BFP month! x
@nive I hear you about crying in recovery. I had 3 operations this year. I've cried in 2 out of 3 waiting rooms. It feels so isolating to be in the recovery area without someone that we know present. Huge hugs, glad it's behind you.
Today's ultrasound was cool. DH didn't want to go, but I dragged him at 8 AM this morning. I'm glad he went and he agreed that it was cool to see the ultrasound - plus there were tons of DH's there today. I just don't like feeling alone in this. So this was our first US since injections. 13 follicles on one side, 10 on the other. I'm nervous that I'm basically a walking ovary right now! I'm trying to take it easy today...somewhat successfully.
I just had my ET this morning. I had three 6 cell embryos. One was the "shining star" and the other two were ok. We decided to put those three in today instead of waiting for a day 5. There are 9 more embryos that are still really slow. The embryologist didn't sound too hopeful any of them will able to be frozen but she's going to watch them over next few days. So fingers crossed they will be able to freeze 1 or 2. As for now I am just resting and staying off my feet for next 24 hrs. Can I ask how long anyone's RE recommends for bed rest ? Also forgive me for not knowing but what is POAS again?
:-P
Don't do it! Hold out. When I was prego (miscarriage happened, still no kids yet), I spent way too much money on those things and I finally gave up POAS...and of course a week later I found out I was prego.
If you have any laying around the house, of course use them, but otherwise hold out! :-)
That's my 2 cents.
