I had an scan yesterday, and while the follicles on the left didn't increase at all, there are 8-9 on the right that did grow.
endometrium is still only .5 but RE said I'll have 5 more days of stims which should induce endometrium to grow.
best of luck everyone x
Best of Luck to you all!
ER days are behind so many of you. I send you tons of baby dust.
How was Thanksgiving? Did you enjoy the days off while on meds?
Rest up, time to prepare the nest...
I shouldn't be far behind you. I'm on my last day of stims - scan yeterday showed my endometrium had grown to 8, I had 8 good sized follicles on the left (largest 18) and 8 small follicles on the right.
I reckon I should also have ER end of this week or at the weekend.
Feel ready for it now. My menopur was increased to 150 on sat and I've effectively felt drunk since then - really surreal.
Dreading the 2ww but there's no avoiding it!
Sticky baby dust to all x
They found an endometrioma on one of my ovaries which is 14 mm (1.4 cm X 1.4 cm). To me it looked huge on the ultrasound.
I asked what they were looking for in the tests and she said 'everything calm.' aka no cysts! But, I have one. And they want me to move forward even with this cyst. I'm nervous. Then again, it's my first cycle so I'm a nervous wreck anyways, right?
I'm also excited. Fingers crossed the next week goes well...
I had another appt today and it looks like my ER is going to be Thursday or Friday. They will call me this afternoon to confirm and tell me when to take my trigger shot. The main issue now is that I am at high risk for OHSS. My RE has had to decrease my Gonal three times in past 10 days.
They stopped my Gonal yesterday. Now I'm just on Menopure and Lupron. I have 20 follies on the right and 15 on the left. They are mostly all 15 - 19 cm. I am praying for a Thursday ER since i'm kind of scared right now. The worse part is after they do the ER, they may have to freeze the embryos and cancel the ET. According to the RN, since I am at high risk for OHSS, becoming pregnant could be dangerous for me. She said they would just wait until I get my period next month and then schedule ET sometime in January. I was disappointed but I'm so nervous that my health is going to be affected, I just want them to to the ER asap! Wish me luck! I hope everyone who just had their ER/ ET hears really good news soon!!! I'm thinking of you all!
Melry, better to be safe than sorry that's for sure. Can I ask was OHSS is? I think listening to your RE and waiting a month regardless is a good idea, ESP since they say your high risk.
Melry, I can sympathise with you. When I did my first IVF in April I had 21 eggs retrieved and suffered from OHSS. To be honest, I didn't think it was that bad (I clearly didn't have a severe form) and wanted to go ahead with ET. It was really difficult as my RE was advising me not to, but I was determinded. After our initial meeting, I ended up calling him twice - on a Saturday! - as I wanted to be clear of the risks, and to understand what was going on. In the end, I agreed and we froze all of the embryos and I did 2 subsequent FET's.
OHSS for me, I felt really bloated and uncomfortable, a little pain in my abdomen - I was told to drink lots, especially gatorade, up to 4 bottles a day (and I hate the stuff!).
Try not to be worried about the ER, and if you do have OHSS, you can deal with it then - but for now, positive thoughts!
I should also have ER this weekend! x
Another person posted on here once that her doc only implanted previously frozen embryos because they are the stronger ones. Soooo...fingers crossed you can implant now. If not, enjoy drinking through the holidays for us, k? :-)
ADKgirl...Nive described in perfectly. I am very bloated and uncomfortable. It kind of feels like your worst PMS symptoms. Im sitting here in work and the button on my pants is holding on for dear life. I want my pajamas in the worst way!
Nive....Thanks for your comment. I was upset at first but If my RE wants to wait until January, then we will wait until January. I was also told to drink tons of gatorade and water. The RN also suggested I eat something very salty after the ER. Good luck this weekend!
Endo...thanks for the support! If my ET is not until Januaray, I absolutely will have a drink for everyone here!!
