Scan today was positive, there's a few follicles ranging from 14-21 and my endometrium has grown. ER should be set for Fri or Sat, bring it on!
And that's just Pms, no drugs.
Ok, shots start tomorrow. Q: what time have you done your shots? I keep getting invited to dinners and don't know how to do this. Do my shots late, or skip social events through the shots? How have you done this DS sisters?
i do my shots at 8.00pm - just after our dinner. for me this time has worked as if we do go out, we can do the shots a little earlier also.
unfortunately, I have 2 more days of shots. my RE said that he wants to give the endometrium a little more time. i was actually really annoyed with him, as we had our scan and bloodwork at 8.45am this morning - the guy doing the scan believed that ER should be fri or sat. RE wasn't at the scan but we were assured he would call us to tell us by the plan. he hadn't called by 3.30pm so I called him. then he said we needed to do shots for 2 more days - we didn't have any meds left so it was a panic to call the pharmacy and have them delivered for tonight. extra stress which we didn't need and which could have been avoided. sometimes when i think of the drs etc i get really angry!
but then i think of lovely growing follicles and I smile again!
best of luck endowife x
Glad it got sorted, and be sure to send him a bag of coal this Christmas.
Stick baby dust to you x
BFP this past Monday!!! Hang in there!! Best of luck and don't loose hope hun :-)
Just so everyone knows - please private message me to let me know whe you get your BFP. I know there are a few people on here who don't want to know BFP news, but that's not me. I need to hear the positives.
Whimsical, can't wait to hear good news in 2 weeks. I know it will happen. Baby dust, baby dust, baby dust.
Hopefully - 6 is AWESOME! I hope we have that many. Quantity is not quality. I asked a while ago for people to tell me how many they had retrieved, and your number is actually a very good number.
:-)
I gave myself my first shots today.
endo - it gets easier! I got myself so psyched up the first time, but within a few days, I was a pro. Now that I'm only on the progesterone shots, my DH administers them. I have to say, he enjoys stabbing me in the butt a bit more than is healthy, I think.
adkgirl, wow congratulations on the wonderful news. i too love hearing the success stories, their what keep me going!
I would also like to say that personally, I'm happy for anyone on this forum to post their wonderful news re BFP here - isn't that why we're here - to support each other in the good and bad?
pleasee god let this be a bumper forum of BFP's!
I'm off for my last ultrascan this morning - ER set for Sunday! x
I had my ER this past thursday. i had 34 eggs removed. 26 matured and 14 fertilized. Today, the lab called and 13 of the 14 are dividing normally. The one is still dividing but very slowly. The problem is that there are fragments in the embryos. The woman at the lab told me it is normal for embryos to fragment but if they continue to do so, they become poor quality and chances of them developing into a pregnancy are low. If this occurs, they will take the embryos with minimal or no fragments and do a ET tomorrow which is a day 3. This is also pending on if my RE will even do the transfer or freeze the embryos due to my high estrogen levels. Of course I forgot to ask the lab exactly how many had fragments and when I called the lab back, no one answered. Now i'm a nervous wreck and am thinking all of the embryos are low or bad quality. My DH keeps telling me i'm just jumping to conclusions but I cant help it. Anyone have experience with fragments in their embryos?
