endo, 5 day transfer means that you have a shorter 2ww - you do the waiting now instead.
I like your DH's idea of renting a hotel room, kinda makes an adventure out of it, and I think your way more likely to bed rest away from all the dustractions of home i.e. ironing, bed-making etc, etc!

Endo, YAY for a day 5 transfer, that means you had good quality and many eggs!! We drove home 2.5 hours after my transfer, after having lunch first.....I pretty much relaxed after we got home and the day after as well......how many are you transferring? Will you do acupuncture before and after?

Sorry I've been a tad absent, I've been following you all, but have been exhausted....I literally yawn all day long, and want to be in bed by 8:30pm......I'm pretty boring right now!!! But excited for TWINS!!! (Excited, nervous, scared LOL)......all of the above!!! But super happy, and absolutely blessed.

Thanks for asking! I'm doing okay. Battling a bad cold/flu that's making me cough and be congested, but it's finally easing up. Worst timing ever! Had some nausea this morning that was helped by eating something. I had my second beta today...waiting to get the call about the results.

I hope you, and everyone else, is doing well too!

Just wanted to say that I am thinking about you ladies tonight. Dear old AF has finally begun to show her face so I can now hopefully begin to move on from this blow. Of course while I was waiting for her all of the mind games began...maybe they were wrong and I really am pg...maybe the babies implanted really, really, really late and that's why AF isn't here...etc...

At least now I can try to move on.

Quick update: 1 of our 7 embryos turned to the blastocyst size yesterday, and he/she went! The embryo stuck to the vial so they had to transfer him/her twice. Sticky little bugger.

Now we wait until the 28th...

I know in my heart that whatever happens was meant to be, and we are very hopeful. so we will have our answer in 2012 after all...

i'll be thinking of you during the 2ww, in my experience its a rollercoaster, but i think its easier if you just accept that and let yourself flow with the ups and downs.

Endo congrats on the ET!!! I think the best thing u can do during the 2ww is keep yourself busy ! And try not to google every symptom. I have googled every single twinge or cramp I feel to the point of making myself crazy !!!

Thanks Nive. I'm a nervous wreck! I was at the office at 7a this morning for my blood work and its going to be hell waiting until this afternoon for my results. I am really worried because I've been having dull cramps since yesterday. Everytime I go to the bathroom I check for AF. This is going to be a long day!!

i know exactly what its like melry, going to the bathroom every 30mins!
what are you doing today? are you at work?
do something, anything, to try and distract yourself - even if its only for 5 mins.

I just got a call from my RE office and unfortunately the Beta was negative. I dont even know what to say or do. I am completely devastated and feel like my whole world just crashed around me. Thank you all for the support and I wish you all the very best of luck !!
