So excited! I just had surgery to remove my wonky tubes and found out this week we will try for IVF in November/December. Our first try - anyone else on this schedule? Any others who are newbies to IVF like me?

Well, today is 8dp3dt and I had some bleeding when I went to the bathroom this afternoon. I sat there shocked, then cried and called my sister. She calmed me down a little and I talked with a friend who had a baby via IVF last year, she reassured me that I shouldn't worry that much. She had bleeding like that too, around the same time frame. So...I called the dr and the nurse called me and told me not to worry because it's almost a week too early for AF. I really hope it's not AF and I am in fact pregnant. I have been having pregnancy symptoms, but I'm nervous to get too excited.

Have any of you had bleeding and still got a positive? I really am hoping we get our miracle for Christmas.

I didn't have any bleeding, but I would get some rather intense cramps, which scared me just as badly, because that's ALWAYS the first sign of AF coming for me. Plus, whether it was the hcg or the progesterone I'm not sure, but I had a huge increase in discharge, so it constantly felt like I was getting AF even though there was no blood. I basically spent about five hours a day running to the bathroom to be sure in the end. Keep an eye on it, but don't freak out yet. Bleeding can happen with implantation.

Essie goodluck - having so many great eggs and embryos is a great sign. Hold onto your hope!!! You can pee on a stick soon right?

I just got my period and I am starting cycle day 2 today!!!! Clomid for 5 days, starting gonal f and menopur on day 4... I had 7 antral follicles instead of the four I had during our cancelled cycle in october... and I'm doing a fresh transfer into my surrogate who is a lovely woman in tennessee. With a new RE out in california so this is just a different experience altogether. :)
