i have been really dizzy today. i am wondering if my electrolites are off from all the sweating i was doing out in the heat at the zoo yesterday. i was drinking tons of water, but i dont know if i am lacking electrolites. i am drinking a sports drink now.

Got an ocular migraine today. Yuck! Hubby was sweet and came home from work to take care of the parenting and household responsibilities for me. He cooked me lunch and let me nap on the couch with ice packs on my face. He woke me up with a wonderful foot massage and strawberry dacquari. The kids were happy, the house straight, and laundry was done. I must say... I have the best hubby ever!!!

Mookie, the new parrot loves to take a shower. I was using the sprayer on the sink the other day to clean out the sink and as soon as I turned on the sprayer he was in the sink. He now gets his morning shower after he eats his breakfast every day.

He's adjusting very well to living here. Still no luck finding his owners. The cats have ignored him but they're so used to being around parrots. Dillon taught them a lesson years ago when I first trapped the cats and brought them in not to mess with a parrot that can chew you up and spit you out.

So far I've heard him say...... "hello" - "pretty boy" - "what's that" - "good night" - "what a good bird" and he's been saying something else but he's so quiet when he says it I can't make it out.

I am SO f'ing PISSED right now. My stupid ex got all huffy earlier because I didnt' show him my new phone (I know - you all hand your phones over to your exes, right?) So he stormed out and slammed the door.
Now he refuses to watch OUR kids tomorrow morning so I can go to work.
What a POS, really.

Sounds like jeolousy and control issues. He no longer has you and he's beside himself on that fact. So the only thing he can do is act it out in anger.
