i need to figure out why i am so freaking hungry! i have been ravenous lately. its crazy. i really need to be working out more too. this once a week thing is just not cutting it. luckily when my daughter starts school again that will be almost 2 and half miles of walking or jogging a day between walking her to school in the morning and picking her up in the afternoon.

Mookie the parrot is throwing his veggies and fruits at the cats. They're looking at him as if to say "WTF is your problem" or maybe they're thinking "tasty parrot stew for dinner tonight". lol

Hehe....yes it would be. I'm waiting for him to throw a brazil nut at them and clunk one of them on the head. They learned the hard way years ago not to mess with a parrot and have respect for the mighty beak or else they end up at the vet's office for a stitch or two.

That's true Des. I've had parrots for many years and I worked as a parrot tamer/trainer for a long (best job ever, it never seemed like "work"). Every one of them is so unique with their own personality. This latest rescue of mine is a tough nut to crack, one day he's sweet, loves being handled, will sing, dance, talk, give kisses and the next day he turns into the bird from hell. lol

Okay, I mentioned a little while ago that I'd found the perfect anniversary gift for my husband... since I gave it to him yesterday, I no longer have a secret to keep. I found a nineteenth-century Royal Navy ship's chronometer. He collects all kinds of clocks, and I knew a Navy man would appreciate one that was used to figure out where a ship was. And he loved it... I got some wonderful loving last night ^_^

Speaking of which... his gift-giving inspiration was the fact that the third anniversary is leather... now THAT made for a fun night lol
