Woke up and felt like a truck smashed me in the head. Three T-3's haven't made a dent in the pain. Have a full day of work ahead of me and the big bosses are in the office today from Germany and the US. Hope my black suit doesn't accentuate my pale face.

I was going to wow them today and fight for my raise that they turned down 2 weeks ago. Now I just hope I can make it through the day without sounding like an idiot with my words getting all tangled up with aphasia.

Wish me luck. I'm not going to back down.

Engima, I'm sorry your feeling horrible on a very important day. I pray that you get through it and that your meds kick in soon. I know what you mean about times when the words don't come out right when you take your meds. Just try to stop and think what you want to say before you say it. I hope you get that raise. @Jen, Im sorry that you are having so much pain. God and those hot flashes . I remember them so well. I started them at the age of 38 and I'm almost 52 and they are still going strong BUT know it's from the meds and not the Old Lady Syndrome as I call it . Lol hope things get better for you soon. Stupid mail order pharmacy shorted me pills. They want a refil before they will give me the correct total.

I am turning 39 on July 3rd. I moved out of my boyfriends almost a year ago and been very isolated. It going to be my first birthday alone. Easter was my first holiday by myself too. My sister isn't talking to me eventhough she lives twenty minutes away. so no friends or family to support. I have been depressed because hell who likes being totally alone. I know it better than being in a bad relationship but eventhough he was verbal abusive and controlling he didn't miss my b day or holidays. i am not going back to him but it is so hard being here and not having any friends yet. I had been talking to a few people but they stopped emailing and calling. Guess the fibro cased them away. Also another year of not going to the fireworks. I want a soical live but it so hard. I have social anxiety and I know I need to try harder. Really bummed. I told my Mom I was depressed, she couldn't figure out why! My mom is chronically ill too but they live over 100 miles away. I could really use some hugs. I don't want to be so sad. I pray next year I will have someone who I can touch. lol who cares about me. Erinn

I'm not sure what I need, any more. My pain is uncontrolled and it takes forever to get through to docs. I need to get letters from all the docs I've seen and make an appt. for a disability application. I was told I' have a better chance if I did it in person.

Welcome to those who I have not seen here, or just forgot, (better possibility).

Yesterday was a rough day for me at work. I have been working outside and it got to me yesterday. I'm doing OK this morning, probably about a half day of outside work and then inside.

I watch this thread at work on my Blackberry and it helps me get through the day.
