Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

"If you just had a more positive attitude, your pain would go away!
It would AT LEAST be less."
Who decided talking about being in pain was negative?
BIG TIME!!!
It just is not natural to be perky and smiley all the time.
next idiot that says that to me is going to lose some teeth.
I dare them...
(um yea, my tail bone hurts so bad I could scream! wish they had it for 1 min.!)
after having to ask someone to leave b/c i was in PAIN and hearing "you don't look like you're in pain," i would have ...oh well, you know.
"If you would try taking a hot shower and lay down a while I'm sure you would feel better"
My mom sent this to me at a #9 scale...I sent her at text back that said "LOL"
She of course didn't get it
I don't think I saw:
"My mother in laws sisters best friends boyfriend knew someone who told him about someone who had heard that his great grandfathers girlfreinds son in law read something about someone, that sounds JUST LIKE what you have"
Oh, wait, I think I am on the wrong thread.
I like the "if it hurts don't do it".
If I followed that advice my fingers would be frozen now. When they hurt I have to stretch them about ten times per day Throughout the day for several days until they start to feel better.
