Two of my most recent ones...

"If you gain weight then you'll have more padding so your joints will be padded."

"If you take your vitamins and focus on calcium it'll be fixed.". This was along with blaming my broken back on nutrition.

Another pet peeve is when people tell me to keep my head up and stay positive because you never know what they're developing... I just have to wait 10 years for freaking FDA approval! I also just smile and nod and think about how much longer I have until my next dose and hope of pain relief.

O I want the magic hair styling wand! Mine looks atrocious because I haven't been able to take a real shower for almost 2 weeks because my IV picc line got infected and can't even chance it getting wet till it is all better.
Or maybe I will just get me that hoodie and pull the hood up to become a scary mugging creature of the night (not to forget the terrifying pink undies) instead of medusa.

Yeah, but you forgot to say that you only ever slept for about three hours a night and went out parting and getting drunk every night BEFORE you tried this "regular sleep schedule".

I have heard the same stupid remarks! I can't believe what I am reading... because they are all SO similar!

It's strange - not only have I heard the same comments- but so many of them are actually word for word!

Well you know you guys are only having these problems because we don't have the right diet! If we just watched everything we ate made sure we got the "right diet" (not sure what the right diet is because each person emphasizes something else) and took some vitamins our actual diseases would disappear? That's what my friends mom did for her slight CFS and now she feels a million times better!

Oh That is a great one!!!!!

"Have you tried an all natural diet, yet? I stopped eating anything that was not all natural awhile ago and I feel so much better! You have to try it!"

Ummmmmmmm, RIGHT!
Where do I get the money to pay for those EXPENSIVE all natural products, the free range stuff and who is going to go from store to store doing all that shopping?
