Excuse me.
HONKY slut.
clever maybe (and failing at it), but not dingenuous
maybe your sensor's a lil faulty
I'm making a point about your point
while trying to be humorous
hence my earlier
genuine responses
I actually think the propensity for not having thoughts get in the way of a platonic friendship
is based on the workings of the minds of the 2 individuals
and if one person feels because of the way their minds works they cant keep things platonic
action or no action
then that says something about them
just as the other person says it would never get in the way
I dont really believe its ruled solely by gender.
if I were your girlfriend and I loved you and felt we had the potential for something serious, I'd express feelings of insecurity if I had them only insomuch as I'd like your patience and understanding while working through them. I'd more so, like to get to know and love the people who know and love you, to the best of my ability to gel with people.
If I were your longterm friend, I'd be upset, and hurt to let you go because your new love interest wanted me out of the picture.
Love is not only about getting because we desire you, its also about giving because we value you.
Tell her how you feel and ask her if she is ready to accept as you are.
If someone wants to change another person, it is not going to work unless that other person is willing to change and be happy about it.
I really don't think sex is the issue in your question. Define yourself, be confident, tell her your boundaries and then ask her if she can accept the real you.
"I would like you to change ... [enter any behavior here]" The list can get very long once you start down that path.
Godspeed
Thanks for all the input....and discussion
AJJ
I didn't read all the posts but have you invited her out with your other friends?
Have a very Merry Christmas my friend.
