on the matter regarding a dating relationship. i have been dating a woman for a out 3 months, and she is starting to dictate who my friends are. I have a female friend that is like a sister to me and I am now being told that I talk to and visit her way to much. C (the lady I am dating) doesn't have a problem if I hang out with my guy friends and do whatever..... but she doesn't believe that males and females can be friends with out hanky panky going on.......Several women on the boad know me, and we have hung out at some meetups......I consider them as friends and can talk and visit, the feel as if they are family. This seems like she is asking me to give up family.....and I am fairly sure the next step will be to not hang with the guy friends...... and then family....I have
DUNN that and I will never do that again.......Am I being paranoid?

All opinions welcomed......I think I may be about to become a monk..... Naw I like people to much......

I'm with Billy Crystal on this, ok and Frank too. I don't think there are many men out there who have not, AT ONE TIME, thought 'I'ld hit that' about a female friend. It's not a stream of consciousness going through our brains, just because you feel it doesn't mean you act on it. It's not an issue of putting women in categories of, how was that put, a fuck, a potential fuck or I don't want to fuck. It's an issue of recognizing that it exists and there is always a chance. To say that you would NEVER cross that line is naive in my book. Never is a long time, situations change. I have a perfect example in my past I can point too.

What I said was, that "getting in the way" is something more than just a thought or feeling.

And then I made a comment about so many people acting on a thought or feeling, when that doesnt ever have to be the case...hence...they wouldnt get in the way.
