I am finding that the less I think about the "good" times and the more I think about the things that really annoyed me, pissed me off or the stupid things my stbx did, the better and stronger I feel.
So, maybe your entries to this post can help most if not all of the DSers through this difficult time.
I'll start (and I have a lot):
1. My stbx literally screwed my throw rugs to the floors (in kitchen, dining room, living room, and den) because he said they kept moving.
2. He put the upright vacuum on the seat cushion of the new couch (while it was running) and it sucked the material up around the roller which burned a permanent long mark in the fabric. He said he didn't know it would do that.....duh!
Your turn....I'll continue with more of mine later.

I'll start (and I have a lot):

2. We couldn't use ant spray (or other products) in the house because "ants are living creatures too, they have just as much right to live as we do"
3. Refused to use the microwave or be in the same room as one when it was running, because it would give him radiation poisoning.
Wanted me to dress him in the morning, clean him when he took a shower, and even help him shave! I got to where I would just pretend to still be asleep until he was done.
I had to fix his lunch for work. How hard is it to make a sandwich?
His excuse for all of this? I did it better.
1. Doesn't brush his teeth unless I remind him.
2. Frequently forgets to do up his zipper.
3. Didn't think it was odd to carry on full conversations or even kiss me while I was on the toilet.
4. Will call me over and over and over again until I answer, leaving a voicemail isn't good enough.
5. He doesn't drive, doesn't have any desire to.
6. Monitors everything I eat.
7. Yells at my dogs when they want attention.
8. Puts crazy limits on me.
9. Seems to prefer it when I don't feel well.
10. Doesn't want me to work, even though I have made it clear that to be happy I need to have a career.
My stbx got mad at me when his laundry wasnt folded. His T-shirts got wrinkled and he hated that.
If I would ask my stbx to do something, ie take out the trash, he would say to me,
"cant you do it?"
This one is still true to this day: he will NOT reply to anybody, especially me, if I do not greet him with a greeting, hello, good morning, hi. Yet, he doesnt greet me most of the time.
