my ex always introduced me as "my wife"..no name, nothing, after 26 years!
1. married an electrican. who does lots of work for people we know and does it very well. so, how come my house and ceilings and walls...have conduit mounted on the OUTSIDE of the walls (meaning on-top of the darn drywall), not the inside of the walls?
2. He kept saying that he "forgot my birthday" hello.... it's on Thanksgiving!
3. I asked him to watch me sleep while I was ill and taking some new meds (to which I had bad reactions)...anyway, I started going numb on my left side and was calling out for help....he simply sat there and ignored me, told me later that he thought I was talking in my sleep - right.......
STBX's idea of "cooking" was either Hamburger Helper or ordering pizza. Sorry, but I got sick of both when I was a college student.
He once fed the kids popcorn for supper, claiming there was "nothing else to give them". Hmmm. What about the freezer full of veggies?
Used to leave his toenail clippings all over my living room. Now he leaves them all over his living room.
Hasn't cleaned his bathroom since we moved in (in June!).
Has not washed his bedsheets since we moved.
Seems to believe that "quality time" with the kids is done by playing computer games with his back to the room. All it accomplishes is mild injury prevention, and hyper, attention-starved kids.
Spilled some powdered iced tea in his bedroom accidentally (I hope), and then instead of cleaning it up, let the ants do it, admiring the nice line they made from their point of entry to the mess.
I used to catch him "greasing the palms" while viewing internet porn. I wouldn't have minded it so much if we'd had sex more than once every few months.
More to "come" later (Sorry, couldn't resist the pun).
He stored all sorts of things in the attic: king size headboards, tires, you name it.
He would put gas from the lawnmower gas can in his car when it was low. I would go to mow the grass, and would have to take the kids and get gas first, over and over again.
He says things like, "I got me a sandwich". I tried several times to explain why it wasn't necessary to say "me" in that sentence but it never did any good.
He sucks his teeth. I DO NOT miss that sound at all.
I used to have to clean bloody spit globs out of our shower, from his clearing his throat in the morning. Thankfully he quit this Disgusting practice with the new house.
Did your husband even know your name? Just kidding! LOL
My husband never could remember my birthday either (not that he ever bought me anything-not even a card) so he would call his brother-in-law who just happened to have the same birthday and we're the same age.
About your meds and watching you...he was clueless and that was downright inconsiderate of him.
