You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

TrichSTAR!!!
Yesterday was kind of rough. I ended up activating my scalp by tugging on some hairs. I found the ones that I wanted to pull--and instead of being the baby-thin ones, these were the thick, kind-of-coarse ones. Once that urge started up, I had trouble keeping my hands away from those specific hairs that I was dying to pull. I was trapped in a really boring lecture-type thing at one point and my fingers kept going to that portion of my scalp. I knew that if I kept tugging on it long enough, the strand would slide out in a sickeningly smooth motion whether I meant to or not. I then tried to be good about it by noting the urges and keeping my hands away from my hair, but for the first time in a while, I was sitting there being tortured by the urges and not being able to think about much else.
Luckily, I was good--putting all my trich-related wisdom that I had built over the years into practice--and managed to escape. Went home, took a bath, felt better. That spot is still sore, but much better than yesterday.
Anyways.
102 days!!! TRIPLE DIGITS!!! AHHHH!!! Next goal: 125 days.
