Beating Trich Community Group
You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.
Glad you're getting through London ok! We trichsters are an adaptable bunch.
It's impossible to know how fast your spot is going to grow back. Unfortunately we just have to wait. One spot took 5 months to grow back once. Ugh. Definitely my hair takes longer to grow back now than it used to.
CONGRATS on your success. You're really doing great.
like same said we are so adaptable!!
BIG HUG!
Started my internship today and I absolutely love it. Another PHEW.
And STILL PULL-FREE. PHEW PHEW PHEW PHEW PHEW PHEW.
YAY :)
And yaaaaaaaay for loving your internship. That's SO EXCITING>
And YAAAAAAAY for still pull free!
Lots of things to be happy about.
Still love the job and still not pulling, but I don't get along very well with my flatmates. Because they all got together and bonded 2 weeks ago, whereas i only arrived a few days ago, they make a point of making me feel unwelcome. Yesterday, we were supposed to all go get fantastic curry after work, except by the time I got off work, they had already left. And I know it was intentional, because I texted one of them to ask if they'd gone out for curry and she ignored it. Then, when they all came in, they were talking about how cheap and delicious it had been. I mean, it's not a huge deal and things could always be worse, but I don't see why they can't just be nice people. It's rather frustrating, because they're the only people I really know outside of work and the people I have to spend the most amount of time with, since we live together.
Honestly, if they continue to act like that, I'd find another place.
Muthafukkaaaaaaaas!
Hooray for possibly-a-week-pull-free!!!!!! ;)
Congratulations on being a week pull free!! that's awesome :D
Unfortunately, I can't move out because I'm in London through a school program and so are my flatmates. The program decides how the rooming situation goes so I can't move out or anything like that. But it's okay. Now that my internship has started and I know how to get around London, I really don't mind nearly as much.
Still doing well with the hair thing, even though I'm having a bit of an "I'm-oh-so-unattractive" crisis at the moment. Still pull-free :)
Have fun! Still pull free is excellent, must be 9 or 10 days by now! Yeah we all have that crisis..
I had my first one yesterday for lunch, and I DIED of ecstasy!!!!!! AND SO CHEAP, only like FIVE POUNDS!!!!!!!
Enough exclamation marks.
But yeah, I LOVE that place haha! I'll definitely have to check out the Camden markets
I wish I had it less often...
Anyway, STILL PULL-FREE :)
I went to london once and there's SO MUCH fun stuff to do!! you're so lucky to be there every day :)
congrats on your still being pull free!!! :D
Camden markets are HUGE!! Heaps of food to buy as well. Mm I had a good burrito when I went there.
Mew wanna go back.
I'm in kind of a funk right now--not feeling too good. Oddly enough, I'm looking forward to going to work because I love my internship and it keeps my mind off of things and it gives my life here in London a bit more focus/structure.
Btw, I think it's SO COOL that you're a freelance designer/illustrator, because I draw all the time!! I love to read, write and draw. I have secret ambitions of producing a graphic novel some day, and at my internship, I get to read, edit and Americanize informational nonfiction graphic novels that cover a wide range of topics. It's AWESOME because I get to combine my love for books and learning with my love for cartoons. They have contracts with five or so writers, who basically research, learn, write and draw all these books that the company publishes. And the company publishes up to 60 books a year, so that's a lot of writing being done by one person! I'd love to be one of them, so badly. I'd get to make a difference, help impart knowledge to people, learn a lot and do what I absolutely love. It would be SO much fun. So I think it's super cool that you like illustrating, too!!!!
Anyways, that was a rant.
YOU SHOULD COMEEEEE. We could meet up and party it up in London, trich-style :)
