Beating Trich Community Group
You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

Ahh sweet normality.
Oh my gosh, I looked at my head in the mirror before, and I swear my part is like 1-2mm thicker than usual at the back. I might be imaginng it though. Either way, I really hate pulling. I find it so disgusting. I hate the hairs everywhere, I hate the itchy scalp feeling, I just hate the pointlessness of it. No more! I have no excuse now anyway lol.
Happy.
Your hair is growing, you're feeling the changes, and if you can handle a vinegar rinse, that might tingle the scalp and give you natural relief. It works on my eyebrows, I just dab a little on them, keeping it away from my eyes, and the relief lasts for a little while.
I rinse it off after a few minutes.
Stay strong, hands down!
yes totally understand about finding the hairs everywhere! they are still appearing on my floor etc despite not having hair for about 2 weeks (I have forgotten already!!!) and vacuuming etc. lol
No more pulling! You can do this xx
Anyway TMI.

Mrs k IRS is a product of autocorrect. Pretty sure it was meant to read "it's". So annoying.
