Since we usually have more thank one ailment or sometimes our ailment doesn't attract enough members to an forum thread-please feel free to post your open ailment discussions here.
On the main forum sometimes members do a check in thread-so instead of coming here to find nothing new has been added-I will have this thread so we can atleast say"we were here" and we left our little foot prints or cane prints...just don't leave any cat or dog droppings please-might begin smelling up the place!

And once the patient finally gets into their dr the dr does exactly what the patient has been asking for them to do for days/weeks

Exactly annette! Any tips for loosening up phlegm in chest so I can cough it up would be greatly appreciated. I'm having a really hard time with sticky phlegm in my chest.

I'm going to try to get the parts for my nebulizer this week and also the saline nebules that go into it. My throat is still sore and I still have hoarseness. I wait 15 hours in the ER from 6pm Monday to 9am Tuesday to find out that the ER doctor doesn't think I need another antibiotic! That my throat looks fine and my lungs are clear! I think now my problem is phlegm that gets stuck in my throat and chest. Phlegm that is very difficult to cough up.

if you can take that robutissin DM it will break up your phlegm and help you get it out and also calm your cough

I've heard that robutissin Dm is good. Do they have it without the cough suppressant? The suppressant would be good at night if I was coughing but during the day I need to bring up the phlegm.

robitussin has lots of different types of what they do...perhaps look it up online or ask your pharmacy..I remember one type (years back) made me worse so to each their own of what helps them

Have my nebulizer mask, tubing and saline nebules. It helped when I used it tonight.

Phlegm is better today. Still have low grade fevers. My surgeon wants to do another flexible sigmoidoscopy on Friday. I want sedation.

I'm not sure if I want to do the sigmoidoscopy since the other one was on February 4th not that long ago.

you could ask why the dr wants another one so soon? Perhaps he needs money :P
