  It's been awhile since I have posted here. My dad is 83, has limited mobility, prostate cancer and needs 24 hour care. I placed him in assisted living and saw some improvements. He seemed to adjust to it, was very social and was doing good.  In the last month, he has decided he wants to go home.   My Father in law will be 90 in March.  He loves his cars and his independence, therefore he still believes he can drive.  He owns a car that has all the drive assists on it. (I comment that he drives by brail).  Last week, he took the older car that doesn't have all the help and drove at night.  He ran over or into something, blew out the right two tires and bent the wheel on the front tire.  He still believes he can drive, just locally of course.  The car has been fixed and we noticed,...

  I haven't been in here in awhile, things had improved and life was going well. A bit of history, my Dad had back surgery in 2013 and he lost the use of his legs, had very little trunk support and mucle spasms from the nerve damage to his spine.
