MIL is back in the hospital. She got the flu that is going around, it seems to be centered in her lungs again. Temp of about 102 F. Influenza they say. I hope they get it under control soon, and that she comes home soon.

Hope she doesnt need stop in rehab to get strength back after this. My mom also had flu it kicked her butt good three weeks. Shes back to her normal now!

She would fight rehab in a nursing home tooth and nail; she HATES those places. Thinks she can get well better at home. With us seeing to her needs.

Mr. Pepper, my heart goes out to you and Mrs. Pepper.

Sometimes you just need to put your foot down and do what is best for her. She of course will fight it and she will get a bit pissed but in the end it is the right thing for her. And hopefully she will see that it WAS the right thing to do as she feels better.

Well, the flu has nailed all 3 of us. I've been pretty wasted for the last few days.

UG! I hate the flu. But on the mend.

And MIL is doing better

I'm still fighting off that drip in the throat thing and suspect that it will slowly taper off over a week or two.

And youse guyz? How has this flu hit your families?

I had it, fortunately only gave it to husband. It really hangs on, doesn't it? The rest of the family escaped it.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...
