  My husband is away for a week. I don’t really mind being alone for awhile. He’s a narcissist (although trying very hard not to behave like one), so it’s sometimes a relief to be apart from him. However, I find that when he’s away I struggle even more with my self-worth and self-confidence.   I'm 40 years old, and still feel like I'm 9 some days because of the lack of love from my mom growing up. My mom wasn't the worst abusive mom out there. She did some things very well, however, she did enough to convince me that she didn't love me by the time I was 10. She also did some pretty terrible stuff when I was about 7 which led to delayed onset PTSD as an adult. I've had terrible health since then and I struggle regularly with low self-esteem, low confidence, hyper vigilance,...
