I have a task from my therapist...Im supposed to make a conscious effort to talk to someone in my zumba class.... I have been in this class for 5 years now. I talk to no one. I think it's too late. People think I'm unfriendly or weird. I have no idea how to even approach people and I know I put off an approachable vibe. Needless to say, after class today I made a beeline to my car....maybe next time.

I am the youngest of six children and for some reason it was up to me solely to take care of my mother when she had cancer and died slowly and painfully.. and my father who had congestive heart failure and dies slowly and painfully. ..Now that they're both gone my oldest sister wants me to step into that role of me taking care of her and spending half of my life taking care of her responsibilities which she is fully capable of taking care of herself... does anybody else have that assigned role...

Hey folks. My comment is about the lovely, seductive, sweet life of " sheltering in place" through the pandemic. Of course I'm being somewhat sarcastic but not being allowed to socialize or "get together" took a lot of responsibility off of me to fight my social anxiety. Where I live a lot of things are going back to pre pandemic ways... Like live bands and carnivals and theme parks etc. Schools are fully opening and that means September I have to go back to work.
