Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I thought even though I stopped exercising a lot since the beginning of 2021, I was still at 260 (I gained a bunch of weight). Mostly because I can still be active and never really tired, still look the best I have in my whole adult life, and just always feeling good and better than I ever did.
But, after seeing the doctor, she wants me to get back into exercising and lose this extra weight. Got an exercise bike and I'm averaging like 20 miles and 30 minutes on it and a full sweat, I didn't think I would on an exercise bike. Hope that it is considered a workout.
She wants me to stop with the sweets every night (obviously), already been working on that and eating more fruit.
But, she also gave me clearance to have a cheat meal once a month and not to be scared of the foods I've given up over the past two years. The only thing I was willing to eat was pizza, with veggies, and light sausage. I thought a burger, cheesesteak, fast food was going to kill me...
Like, I've given myself serious anxiety and PTSD about the foods that used to be such a comfort for me... My girlfriend and the doctor actually had to convince me that's it's ok...
I used to depend on like triple burgers and other greasy fast food to help me be happy. Now, I'm scared of it lol.
I feel ridiculous, excited, scared, and happy to have my cheat day on Aug 1st. I should just be happy lol.
I hope you all are doing well! Peace, love, hugs, and blessings to you all!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

Good luck on your journey.
Also, I have found that cutting out sweets completely, stops the brain from craving sugar. It's hard to do, but if you stopped all sugary desserts completely, you will also find the weight coming off super fast!
Good luck. You can do this!
Once you get past the craving, not having sugar is easy to do.
You've got this!
