  I have found that I have lied to try and get out of trouble, to make myself look better, to avoid confrontations and sometimes just because!  I have cheated on my first wife and destroyed that marriage and have lied to my second wife about my sexual addiction!  Even though I have been "sober" for over 6 years, I still find that I lie to avoid confrontation with my wife.  Anymore it is about the silliest or dumbest things!  I have started reading through these posts and have made it upto...

  I have lied about many things in my life, from small things to great big lies.  This has really impacted my marriage of almost 24 years and has destroyed any trust my wife has had in me! I have tried unsuccesfully to stop this by sheer willpower and have failed everytime.  I am reaching out here in hopes rebuilding my life and my relationship with my wife. I am interested in hearing from anyone about their experiences and work they have done on rebuilding theirs lives!
