  The pandemic is triggering my anxeity and OCD in horrible ways. I am not okay whenever I leave the house, I am a wreck. It's taking a toll on my wife. We have only done socially distanced things alone - for example, walked to the store for ice cream, a socially distanced backyard hangout with my parents, a socially distant beach day yesterday morning, etc. My fear and anxiety (which sometimes turns into yelling) causes us to fight and my wife has zero patience at this point.   My wife is very frustrated with what she perceives is my anxiety being projected onto her. Maybe in some situations she's right. Maybe in most. If I perceive something as danger, that's it. My mind/body is ready to deal with it and we have to act on it in the way that I feel is the safest. I do not feel flexible in being able to listen to what she thinks, that she doesn't think it's a big deal, etc. In my mind, we MUST treat it as a big deal because God forbid something tragic happens if I use...

  My wife is talking about possibly wanting to foster a dog or cat right now. We already have two cats in a tiny, one bedroom apartment. We live in a crowded city, so the idea of taking a dog out for walks creates a LOT of anxiety for me right now with coronavirus. What if the dog puts something in their mouth, sniffs something, steps on something, etc that's contaminated? I'm going to want to clean the dog constantly to "save us".
