  It's been 12 days since I last got to hear his voice or go to sleep with my head on his chest. It feels like nothing matters anymore.  All of the plans we made are just gone suddenly.  I have my two grown kids, a granddaughter and a grandson due in 3 weeks but I feel like I'm just an observer in life now.  Things go on around me but I can't feel anything. I'm only 51.  Is this what the rest of my life is like now?

  It's been one week and 2 days since he passed.  The autopsy findings revealed an enlarged heart that led to a massive heart attack.  We had no idea.  We are "youngish" (50) and cycled and kayaked a lot! The autopsy also revealed that he had the same intestinal cancer tumors that killed his mother.  There were no symptoms so it would have progressed like his mom's before we knew.  Her's was a slow painful death and he always said he didn't want to go like that.  He didn't.  He passed in...

  I lost the love of my life Saturday at 2am when I woke up for some reason and he had had a massive heart attack and was gone.  I didn't know that at the time I just knew he had died but my daughter and I tried CPR until the paramedics got there.  He was healthy as far as we knew.  It's Tuesday and I'm still finding times when I'm shaking uncontrollably.  I have an appt tomorrow with a counselor but I'm just wondering if this is a normal response.

  One of the last discussions I remember Clay and I having was about him potentially having to move to Alabama for a job.  He was sitting on the end of the bed, pulled me between his knees and said "I am never leaving you".  Thank just 7 hours later he left me in his sleep.  I woke up suddenly for some reason and he was gone.  I tried everything.  I begged God to bring him back to me but nothing worked.  Now I'm having to figure out how to navigate life without him.  I don't want to but I...
